1:51Mitch:Tom's doing his deep dive. I tried.

1:52Hayden:Now I've seen the movie. You got 10 minutes in. You didn't even get to the part where the midgets show up.

1:57Mitch:Dude, this movie is so goofy.

1:59Hayden:That's why it's so fun. You literally like you, were two minutes away from getting hooked into the movie.

2:07Mitch:I tried.

2:08You were two minutes away.

2:09Mitch:I tried, but this week has been a busy week at work. So I had to get in time to watch like Mary Kingstown and stuff like that. So I only had so much time.

2:19Hayden:You can't be bothered .

2:22Mitch:I didn't have enough time to watch Time Bandits?

2:25Hayden:Yeah, they stole it all away.

2:26Mitch:They stole your time from you, so Time Bandits is Because I regal us with Time Bandits.

2:31Hayden:It's the 1981 British fantasy adventure movie co-written, produced and directed by Terry Gilliam for Monty Python, starring Sean Connery, john Cleese, shelley Duvall, ralph Richardson.

2:41Mitch:Shelley Duvall. She's the one from the Shining right.

2:43Hayden:Yes, Okay, ian Holm, michael Palin or Palin, however he says it, you got let's see Terry Gilliam, you got John Cleese, you got Michael Palin. You got three Pythons.

3:00Mitch:Is John Cleese. Is he the one that plays? No, I was thinking of Kreese, the guy from Cobra Kai. No, john Cleese.

3:06Hayden:The Ministry of Silly Walks guy at Monty Python. He plays Robin Hood in this movie. Okay, never mind. So this is a fantasy movie that was financed by George Harrison from the Beatles as well.

3:18Mitch:He put in money for this. Oh, so this is one of those like British humor kind of things.

3:24Hayden:Not really British humor, it's just. It's not like Monty Python.

3:29Okay.

3:29Hayden:It's made by very similar you know, three of them out of the six in this movie and , you know, created because it's co-written by Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin. Okay, but Terry Gilliam, who's an American, directed it. Okay, he's the only American in Monty Python.

3:46Mitch:So it's got a little bit of America to it.

3:48Hayden:No, not really. No, okay, no, no, like I said, I just. I mean the synopsis of the movie is you know, young kid, you know like 10, 11, 12, maybe probably like 11, you know into history. Well, I'll just start with how the movie starts. You're introduced to Kevin and his family? Okay, Somewhere in England. You know very British.

4:11Mitch:So it is British.

4:13Of course it's British. I told you it's the British.

4:15Mitch:Yeah you know, I love .

4:15Hayden:British stuff. You know he's in ancient Greece . His parents could care less. This kid's in the room Because all they care about is like the latest kitchen gadgets now, like they're just hooked on television and like gadgetry. And he goes to bed and he's asleep. Then he wakes up and here's like a rumbling and a knight in full armor on a horse comes galloping out of his wardrobe swinging a sword and the kid's like freaking out and he like covers himself and like all of a sudden his bed is in the middle of a forest and the knight just takes off riding and then he like comes back out from underneath the covers and he's back in his room and like he gets up and he's like looking at the wall and there's a, because his room is just covered in

4:54Hayden:stuff. You know pictures. All over the wall there's a picture of like the forest he was just in okay, before you get too far, just so you know, there is also a TV series.

5:04Mitch:Yeah, on Apple.

5:05Hayden:Yeah, okay, I think it got canceled.

5:07Mitch:Well, it says it was 2024 TV series, I don't know and Lisa Kudrow's in it and Kal-El Tuck that's the actual guy's name.

5:16Hayden:Kal-El. So now you want to watch it right? There's a guy named after Superman.

5:21Mitch:I might have to watch that.

5:22Hayden:Watch the movie first and then you'll watch the show, because then you'll probably know what's going on, because I imagine it's going to be about the movie.

5:27Okay, okay, okay.

5:29Hayden:So the next night, kevin's smart, he's got clothes on this time, not pajamas. He's got his satchel, his flashlight, polaroid camera supplies in his little bag, jones, and he's sitting there looking at the the wardrobe and he falls asleep and then the wardrobe, you know, rattles a little bit and then the door opens and there's a midget with a monocle and like a world war one, like pilot helmet on Randall, and he looks and like you know, oh, but like six midgets get out and you know they got like just like pirates, like civil war guys, that one of them has a machine gun and and they're like looking around and he wakes up and he turns the light on and they're like running around the room freaking out because they think it's the

6:11Hayden:Supreme being, god, and they're all in the corner and they're like peddling for mercy and he's like who are you? Like a little British kid voice and they're like that's not the Supreme being. It and they're like that's not the supreme being doesn't sound like him and then he goes, it's just a kid and like get him. They just start dogpiling the kid and they're just like for him, bite off his fingers, and then he like panics and then um they're like, how do we get out of here? And they're like, don't play dub, because they're looking for the portal to get out from wherever they are which is the closet, which is the well it's the wall.

6:42Mitch:Oh, okay.

6:43Hayden:So they start looking around and they press against the wall and it slides now. So now they start pushing the wall and it's just going down this huge hallway and the kid and he's like, who are you guys? He's like, come on, kid, help us. And then all of a sudden it gets really creepy and lightning and then this giant floating head comes in through the window and it's God, I was wondering what that was supposed to be. Return the map. He's like return what you have stolen. And the kid Show us what you've got. Show us what you've got. It's basically that this is before. It was much more scary. So the kid takes off running and the wall just gives out and there's just darkness, there's just nothing, and they just jump

7:21Hayden:and then they land at the Battle of Castiglione in like 1798. Because then they explain that they have a map that they stole from God because they used to work for him, Because that's a good idea. Uh-huh. Well, they figured because they were like. You know they joke about it. They're just like it's a map of time and space and all the holes to get through everywhere and it's like how are there all these holes? And he's like we only had six days to create the universe. It's like you think what you thought it was going to be a perfect job. So they're enterprising to rob famous people in history and make a lot of money that's their whole gist while they're being hunted down by God. So they end up meeting Napoleon , played by Ian Holm, who played

8:05Hayden:Bilbo Baggins.

8:07Bilbo Baggins.

8:10Hayden:Like the French just sacked the city and he's watching a puppet show and it's the little puppets and one of them has a club and he's beating the crap and then the puppeteer gets shot by someone and dies and like they're bringing out, like all these other, these other people Like these acts, like the three idiots, Like you know, strong men stuff and Napoleon's, just like he's, like that's not what I like. He's like little people hitting each other. So like the dude's about to hang himself or he's about to shoot himself with a pistol and the midgets walk up and he's like, and they start talking and then they go out, like they get like this like dance number and they're walking out singing like

8:45Hayden:, in, like like the temptations or something. Not as obviously it's choreographed, but it just falls apart because they start hitting each other while they're dancing around and knocking each other senseless, like they're getting like bloody noses and they're just beating the crap out of each other. All of a sudden this dopey music and the guy's like about to hang himself and Napoleon just comes out and he's like, and then he just grabs, like the music guy and like, gives him a kiss on each cheek and he's basically he hires the midgets as generals and they wait from the fall asleep and the whole time Napoleon's talking while drunk off his rocker. He's just going on and on about how these great historical

9:19Hayden:figures were short Cause he's like Alexander the great, great, five foot one conquering the whole world, little fella. And he just passes out and like they take his hand out of his like you know, because Napoleon's always posing with his hand in his coat- they take it out. He's got a gold hand and they just unscrew it and take it. What, yeah? So they rob Napoleon. They have like all all these priceless tapestries and they're just loading gold onto it. And they send out one of them dressed up as a marshal and he makes all of them about face and he finds where the next portal is, goes and gets everybody else and they see it's just a bunch of midgets robbing them. They take off running and they make it through the portal and

9:58Hayden:then they go into the Middle Ages where they meet Robin Hood, played by John Cleese. Okay. So there's a carriage going around and Michael Palin's in it and so is Shelley Duvall, and then they come out of the sky and crash land into it. Like the carriage crashes and they're like, yeah, and they take off running and then they end up getting kidnapped by Robin Hood's men. And like they go to recover their treasure and they get kidnapped by Robin Hood's men. And they go to recover their treasure and they get kidnapped by Robin Hood's guys. They get hoisted up by the snares around their feet and Randall's like everybody shut up . I know how to talk to these guys and the guy's like, yeah, Like snarling at him.

10:38He's like I'm a thief .

10:41Hayden:He's like yeah, and they let him down and they go meet Robin Hood and all of his like merry men are the most disgusting people Like middle ages, like just nasty, dirty-looking swarthy people. And out comes John Cleese, clean cut in like the mock Robin Hood outfit, yeah, and he like modeled after, like some stuffy British guy he saw like at some event. And he modeled after some stuffy British guy he saw at some event. And he's just like just a total lack of reality. He comes walking out and he's talking to all of them. He's like jolly good, jolly good, as he's shaking his head. He's like and how many people have you robbed? Or he's like how many years have you been robbing people? And one of the midges goes four foot one and he's like full

11:23Hayden:foot one. Really Jolly good, jolly good, as he keeps going. And then Robin Hood robs them. They take all the stuff and they're giving it to the poor people and every time they give a poor person some priceless gold thing, one of his dudes is standing there and just punches him in the face as hard as he can. He's just like knocking them out cold. And robin and junkies goes. Is that absolutely necessary? And then one guy he's like and, like the guy next to him, goes. He says he's afraid of this and he goes all right, sure, why not? and then, robin had asked the uh , the, the kid, kevin, if he wants to stay there with Ev, and he's like, yeah, but he gets dragged away by the midgets and then they're going away.

12:11Hayden:But they're arguing about something in the map because they just got robbed by Robin Hood after robbing Napoleon Bonaparte. Now you find out that they're being stalked by evil.

12:24Mitch:What's evil?

12:25Hayden:Evil.

12:25Mitch:Just evil itself.

12:27Hayden:Evil the person.

12:28Mitch:I mean, is it like a character? Yeah, no, it's evil the character.

12:33Hayden:And they have like a pool thing and they're like watching them Like Reader, like Power Rangers, like the ball thing. And he's got like his idiot cadre of minions and one of them like says something and he blows them up and he's like never talk to me like that again . And he's like, well, sir, he's like, if you're, you know, so how come you haven't escaped? And he blows him up too and like it's like he explodes and you just see, like his like waist down and then the explosion comes back down and blows that up too. Like the special effects are really cool. And he's like, after he blows up the second henchman, he just goes that's a good question. Like he's the funniest character in the entire movie because he

13:11Hayden:is just ridiculous, because the whole time he's ragging on God. And he's like slugs. He's like, why did he make slugs? And he's like, how many different kinds are there? Like what 14? He's like, if it was me, lasers eight o'clock, day one, cause he's all he was obsessed with like technology and like computers and laser beams and you know, things capable of you know destruction of destruction of machinery. But he's like the funniest off the wall character the entire movie and you don't see him that much until the end. But it'll cut to him watching them and then just his nonsense and his idiotic minions, robert and Benson. He turns Benson into a dog. And he's like they dream of being killed by him.

13:58Hayden:They want to be killed. That's their job Is to be his henchman and then have him kill them at some point. And he's like I can't wait for the glorious day, master, when you finally kill me. It's so stupid. So they're in the woods. They just got robbed.

14:18Mitch:You're convincing me to watch this why?

14:20Hayden:Because it's the funniest movie, it's one of the greatest movies ever. Okay, and they're looking at the map and the evil. Uh, he's like, he finds like the stupidest midget og and he like brainwashes them for a second, he's telling them, like, what to do as an idea, and then it gets all lightning and windy and then the supreme being shows back up, you know, with the head , and there's two portals. And they're yelling at the kid, like go, go, go through the portals. Like which one? He's like just go get out of here. And as he's running to the left , he's like not that one. And pew. So and then it cuts to like ancient Greece, like Mycenae, greece, and a Minotaur is fighting a Greek soldier and they're fighting, fighting Kevin .

15:05Hayden:And a Minotaur is fighting a Greek soldier and they're fighting, fighting Kevin drops out of the sky, crash, lands on the Minotaur and like knocks him out and it gives the Hoplite guy a chance to kill him and defeat him and he's, like you know, who are you? He's like what? Are you like Zeus, apollo? These guys like he's like no, I'm Kevin and he's like hang on. And he's like hang on and he takes off the helmet. It's Sean Connery and he's like Kevin. But the way they got Connery, like they pitched, like they were at a golf thing and like just kind of bumped into him and they're explaining like the movie to him and he's like and it got to his part that they hoped Sean Connery or an actor of equal but cheaper stature, which he thought was funny.

15:48Hayden:And he's like you know? Like he's like when are you guys filming? It's like we're doing these, you know these dates and whatever. And he's like well, I could do it. Like he did it for like a huge like contract, like money lost in his normal fee to be in the movie because he was a fan, and then the only thing he asked for like two percent of the gross for the movie which ended up being a lot of money, yeah, but they got sean connery, so he goes with agamemnon. And what? Or sean connery, who plays king agamemnon? Oh okay, it's Historical, remember. Yeah, okay, for right now, yeah sure, before it gets wild. So he goes with them to the palace, you know, and he like doesn't have kids. The two of them kind of become attached really quickly and

16:36Hayden:Agamemnon was like you know, unless you want to stay here, and he's like I'd love to, and the kid's all about staying. So I remember he was going to make him his kid and present him as an heir to Mycenae. You know, not bad for the kid.

16:50Yeah.

16:51Hayden:And the whole time. The kid's just got his Polaroid and he's been snapping photos like this whole time and taking pictures. So the midgets find him, Randall and the gang.

17:08Mitch:Because you got Randall, wally Strutter, og, fidget and Vermin Now in their IMDB. It only shows four midgets, or no, sorry, it's the fifth one that doesn't have a picture. My bad.

17:18Hayden:So they find them, they're having this big ceremony thing and they come in, they act like they're doing a magic show, but the stage that they're on the portal is underneath it. So they grab the kid and they're like muffling his mouth because he's trying to warn everybody, because he doesn't want to go this time, and like they hold up these curtains after they robbed everybody, like took Sean Connery's crown, and then the portal opens and they disappear and the stuff drops and the portal's gone and everybody's like clapping. And then he's like stops for a second, he just stands up and everybody's like and then the kids just pissed off about it because then they end up on the titanic. I mean, they don't know it's like titanic, but like next

17:56Hayden:thing, you know, they're all wearing tuxedos, they're drinking champagne, they got big cigars and they're just like yeah, yeah, because now they're filthy rich, but then Titanic sinks. Then they end up in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean arguing with each other because Titanic obviously sinks, because they show the ship go boom, boom, and they're all sitting out on chairs on the deck chain-smoking gigantic cigars, which is huge to them, and the ship tilts and all of them just go sliding out of frame Like eww, and then they're just all hanging onto a piece of wood to them and like the ship tilts and all of them just go sliding out of frame like ehhh, and then they're just all hanging out like all these icebergs that does sound funny

18:31Hayden:and then they figure out um, that's when evil reiterates, like how to get to the time of legends, where, like the ultimate prize is so they end up going through a portal like you have to watch it. But they end up going through a portal, you have to watch it, but they end up in another body of water. And then they get picked up by an ogre and his wife, but he has like really bad back problems and a cough.

18:55Mitch:Mrs Ogre.

18:56Hayden:Yeah. So they end up on their boat and the guy's like scaring them. He's like ah, but Kevin realizes he's got like a back problem and because he picks up the kid and he's like, ah, you know, giving him the ah, you know nonsense it actually says Winston the Ogre was played by Peter Vaughan.

19:14Mitch:Mm-hmm in the ogre was played by peter vahen, which is the uh the old meister on uh game of thrones, the one that dies.

19:23Hayden:He's blind, or whatever yeah, plays uh, maester amon, yeah, okay, so he's like bad back. And he's like, he's like I can fix that. And then the next thing, you know it cuts to they, he cut them out of the fishing net and they're holding him and pulling him by his arms and his legs and you just hear as they're like straighten them. And he's like this is great and it's just like all right, one more. And that should do the trick, because they all wink at each other and look at the side of the boat and they start rocking them side to side. They just eject them off the boat and he's just swimming like . He's like. He's like is this part of it? He's like I feel great, feel great. And he's like bah, like obnoxiously loud.

19:58Hayden:And then his wife comes up because she can't hear him and they get in the big pot that they were going to be cooked in and they're just like sitting in it and she's like looking over, she's like what are you doing in the water? And the pot just gets up and you see all the little feet and it just bumps her out. Then you find out the boat is a hat to a giant.

20:17Mitch:Uh-huh Just cause.

20:20Hayden:It's the time of legend.

20:22Mitch:It's different Time of legend, why not?

20:24Hayden:So you have a giant wearing a big boat as a hat and he gets up walking and he shows these weird alien-looking creatures. It's like a husband and wife. You hear a kid crying in this rickety shack and in the distance you see the giant walking towards it. And then you hear like, and the guys outside like, and then the giant just steps on it and keeps going and then they find like the, the fire poker thing, you know, like the thing the thing that pushes air. Yeah, the air pushing thing they feel they air pushing device contraption. They fill it with sleeping drugs that they found in the boat, inject the giant in the head and start pumping full of it to knock him unconscious and he sits down to take a nap, takes

21:09Hayden:off, the boat, sets it down and they're just rolling around inside and then they're wandering through the desert after escaping their peril and they're ready to mutiny on randall. But they walk into a basically nothing like a big, invisible barrier and they're all like pushing their faces up against it. And then they argue and they're gonna go back. And then randall like tries to stop him but they knock him down so he picks up a skull and he goes to throw it and it misses misses it, but it hits the barrier, it explodes and it reveals the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness where the prized object is. Okay. So they show up, evil disguises himself as some like game show guy from the very beginning of the Welcome to the darkness.

21:52Hayden:Yeah, literally that. Literally that they're like running on this maze and he has to hand him the map and they hand it to him and then he turns into evil and takes them all captive and puts them in cages hanging up over nothing, like just the pit of nothing that they have to subsequently escape from. So they climb up, they cut off pieces of rope, make a string and then they're just like they have one of them tied to a mission. They're just like they have one of them tied to a mission. They're just swinging them as he makes it to it and then they're sliding across, making it all the way to the edge, and then nightmare fuel happens. The uh, you haven't seen it. The? Uh like skeleton horse, demon monsters that shoot fire.

22:33Ha Ha.

22:36Hayden:Because they need to get the map back? Because with the map, evil can escape trying to find the pictures on here well, that's evil in the middle okay, your skeleton horse demon thing.

22:51Mitch:What's the fireman?

22:53Hayden:oh, the fireman sean, Sean Connery at the end. So inside the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness they have to fight evil. Kevin realizes in his bag he has pictures, because one of them he has a picture of all the midgets and they're holding up the map so they can figure out how to get out. So they leave, but before they steal the map back, evil turns Og into a pig like a bipedal pig guy, and then he eventually zaps him again. And so basically you have a pig , yeah, in a tuxedo running around, and then it turns into an actual pig which is wearing a suit, squealing and running around.

23:32Okay.

23:34Hayden:And then they get captured and Kevin has the map and he's holding it next to a torch, like I'll blow this up, like I'll burn the map. And he's like you know, he's like unless you call these things off, the demon horse, skeleton things and his henchmen . So evil kills all of them, blows up everybody, robert and benson, and benson was, it's like you know, dog hair just goes flying in an explosion and evil is just standing there looking and goes. See, I'm a reasonable guy. My name is Hayden. And then all the other midgets come back with like heroes from time, like archers from ancient Greece, tanks, cowboys, stuff from you know, laser ships from space.

24:25Mitch:I saw the picture of like the tank, I was like where is this coming to play?

24:27Hayden:And they all fight evil, and evil is mopping the floor with all of them in like comedic ways.

24:33Uh-huh.

24:34Hayden:Like all the archers shoot arrows and yeah, you see the giant red ball, yeah, that's what he does. Like he covers himself with a cape and it blows up. And then he like he goes and all the arrows shoot back out and kill all the archers. Sure, so they fight. And then he's like turning red, like he's he'd get the script and he'd write his lines in red so he knew which ones immediately were going to be his . And then he was like they were like he would cross out lines and they'd be like why'd you? And then he was like they were like he would cross out lines and they'd be like why'd you cross him out?

25:20Mitch:And he's like God wouldn't say that he took it to heart, huh.

25:23Hayden:Mm-hmm, he's like the most. Like you know, people talk about Morgan Freeman playing God like Bruce Almighty. Yeah, this dude was like I'd believe that.

25:35Mitch:Ralph Richardson.

25:36Hayden:One of the greatest actors. They say Him and Lawrence Olivier. He was a star in the mid-1930s, the golden, golden age of great acting. We didn't have explosions. You actually had to be on screen and act the entire time, so you know the Supreme being. He starts cleaning stuff up, he turns Og back into a person instead of a midget and he's like I was having fun being a pig and just running around Fidget, played by Kenny Baker, who also plays Archer D2.

26:11Oh, okay.

26:12Hayden:He's in it, he plays Fidget, he gets killed in the fight by a giant pillar that lands on him and he just like God, just like wait, like he looks at the pillar and his eyes flash and the pillar just goes wee, flying into the sky. And he does it again and Fidget comes back to life. So then they're cleaning up all the pieces of pure evil, of concentrated evil. It's like we can't leave any of this stuff behind. And then they have to leave and they're like well, what about Kevin? It's like can he come with us? And he's like no, he's like no, he can't. That's not how this works. So then, like it starts filling with smoke and then Kevin wakes back up in his room and his house is on fire and the firemen

26:50Hayden:like break in and they grab him and take him out and as they're walking, like you see, like the floor with all his toys and stuff is on it and it's exactly like the layout of the fortress of ultimate darkness, like the lego pieces like the toys, the tanks, the archers, like the whole thing about it like it was all.

27:08Mitch:Like right there on his floor well, I saw the picture of like the lego. I'm like why is this building piece shaped like a lego?

27:14Hayden:but okay, because at that point you think it's just a dream. This kid would have the dream of his life. They rescue him, they take him out. They're like oh, it's Fawlty Toaster. He flips it open. There's a rock inside of it. Kevin looks at it. He looks at the fireman and it's Sean Connery. He reaches into the saddle. He's still wearing it. He takes out the Polaroids and he still has the photos of all of them, of everything that they did and all the places they went. And he looks back at his parents. It's like no, it's like don't touch it, it's pure evil. And both parents go and press it and explode Like no one notices. The two of them just exploded and their shoes are just left. And then the camera just pans out, pans out, and then you see

27:53Hayden:like the map and it gets folded up by God and that's it. That's the end of the movie. Okay, so the parents just blow up and the kids left alone. yep, because at first he's like oh, it's just like a wild dream this kid had uh-huh and then he's back in reality, but he has the photos of everything that happened. Time bandits still one of the best movies I've ever seen.

28:20Okay.

28:21Mitch:It actually says that Sean Connery suggested that he appear as one of the firefighters at the end of the movie.

28:27Hayden:Oh did he.

28:27Yeah.

28:29Hayden:I can't believe. I wish you watched the whole movie. I think if you watched the whole movie you'd love it. Hmm, it's on Amazon Prime. I know it's also on HBO Max right now. I think that you watch the whole movie, you'd love it. Hmm, it's on Amazon Prime, I know.

28:39Mitch:It's also on HBO Max right now.

28:41Hayden:Or Art Max. Yeah, I watched it on your account so you'd see it was on there.

28:45Mitch:Yeah, I saw I was like oh look, someone has been watching it already, someone's already watched Time Bandits Because I watched it.

28:51Hayden:that's when I thought I was like we should do Time Bandits. I was like this is a great movie.

28:56Mitch:I did try to watch it , and then I only have so much time lately at least this last week that every time I started to watch it my wife would come in and she'd be like let's watch our show. I was like okay.

29:06Hayden:But Time Bandits.

29:08Mitch:Like I struggled to be able to finish to watch Clawfoot. I'd watch it while she's in the shower and then when she'd get out of the shower I'd stop, and then the next night I'd watch a little bit more and then stop. So I tried. It was just hard to find the time and the interest because it was so goofy to begin with.

29:27Yeah.

29:27Mitch:It's hard for me to get into the early 80s and 70s movies if it's not something I'm already interested in.

29:34Hayden:Once the midgets show up, the party's on, it does not stop. It is breakneck speed movie.

29:42Mitch:I guess mainly because it's not something I watched as a kid. If it was more nostalgic for me , like you know, I don't know. It's just it's not something that was my taste and I've never seen it before. It's hard. It's not something that was my taste and I've never seen it before.

29:59Hayden:It's hard for me. It has like a 9 point. It has like a 91 Rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

30:05Mitch:Let's see. I know on IMDB it's a 6.9, which I mean it's not bad Because it's out of 69,000 reviews.

30:13Hayden:So Some people get it , some people don't. Yeah, I'll give it a shot. Reviews Some people get it.

30:16Some people don't.

30:18Mitch:Yeah, I'll give it a shot.

30:22Hayden:I want you to watch it and just report back and be like tell me what you thought about the movie.

30:26Mitch:I'll have to have the time to sit down and watch it, now that you've heard my horrible juxtaposition of the plot. As you're talking, I was sitting here looking at the pictures of different things. It does look like it would be pretty funny.

30:37Hayden:It is Evil is the funniest character.

30:39Mitch:I'll just have to have the time to sit down next and go through it. Actually, since the budget was a $5 million estimated budget, on its opening weekend it made $6.5 million, ended up making $42 million overall, which isn't bad.

30:54Hayden:And not bad in 1981.

30:58Yes, because that's pretty good for back then.

31:06Mitch:Wow, is there anything?

31:07Hayden:else that you've watched or played. Recently I checked out the new season of Call of Duty you did. It's not great.

31:13Mitch:Did you get any wrestlers? No, it's just so dumb.

31:14Hayden:Now Look, I love Because I did like the small map , mosh pit, and then there's not great. Did you get any wrestlers?

31:17Mitch:No, it's just so dumb . Now Look, I love.

31:18Hayden:Because I did like the small map mosh pit. And then there's new maps, but they're old maps that they made look like comic book-y like shipment rust and I'm like this isn't, this is cheap, like this is cheap.

31:33Mitch:And you know I love wrestling, but there's no way I'm gonna pay for a wrestler character. No, like I mean the shredder. Yes, I bought shredder. Yeah, um, if they ever did punisher or like supposedly they're doing the crow, I would get those because they at least can reasonably fit into the world of call of duty. Like shredder is the stretch to me.

31:57Hayden:Yeah, it's a big stretch.

31:58Mitch:Yeah, but it still reasonably could fit in, because he's a person. Wrestling has no business being part of the characters. The Gundams which you bought has no reason for being None whatsoever.

32:15Hayden:It's still the sweat Olympics now, even playing Rebirth or playing the small maps or, like I normally like to like, the Warzone.

32:25Mitch:I honestly have not played any game Because, like I said, I've been busy. I've not played any game since the last time we recorded. It's been hard to find the time lately.

32:35Yeah.

32:35Mitch:I've been working five 11 11 hour days at work.

32:38Hayden:Cause, even if, whatever I was playing, I was playing, hell, let loose yeah. And. I really like hell let loose, especially now, cause like for some reason um the console chat works now in the game so I can hear everybody and I can talk. It is so much more fun. It is a totally new game. It is a totally new game. It is awesome. I play with one squad and the guy's like, yeah, this is how I run the squad. He's like the squad I guess other people knew who he was. And he's just like hey, can you give a mic to me? And I was like, yeah, I was like I got one. I was like I'm new to the game, so if I F up royally, you know don't the M1 carbine now, because I unlocked it. I got to level three as a rifleman and we're just going to

33:20Hayden:objectives and he's like telling us like where to go, and like it was like six of us, and he's like calling stuff out. All of us are calling stuff out . You know giant manor house just blasting through the windows and it's like we got contact downstairs and like you just hear like gunfire below you, grenades are going flying and one dude's like tag boom. So I will say that has still been a lot of fun to play.

33:55Mitch:Well, I recently watched the I guess it's like a documentary called Receiver on Netflix, which is like some of the NFL receivers it's kind of like the Hard Knocks, except for this followed several different receivers throughout last year. It's pretty funny to watch. I mean, granted, you know what it is, it's basically just them going through the season, but it was interesting to see. I like the stuff where you get to see who the person is behind this. You know megastar or whatever. So it follows, I think Justin, jefferson Debo, samuel George Kittle and there's one or two others that it follows. But it's just neat to see, like you know they're talking about, like, yeah, we're the prima donnas, we do all the

34:33Mitch:showboating, but you know, here's what really goes on. It's like Amon Ross St Brown, like his dad, his dad like convinced him that oh yeah, at halftime the best thing you can do, drink a Coke. And you're like what? And he said, like his dad's, like hey, it'll clean you out before the second half. But then, like, you find out that Amon Ross St Brown, like he , growing up, his I want to say his father was some kind of a either I can't remember if it was basketball or like an Olympic-level athlete, but he did all sorts of stuff, but his mom is actually German, so like he knows how to speak three different languages and English was not his first language. So yeah, I mean it's pretty interesting just to learn about

35:16Mitch:these people. You know George Kittle, he's like a wannabe Gronkowski as far as like just being a goofy fun guy, but it's interesting. If you like stuff like hard knocks or like to learn about, like you know, behind the scenes of sports and stuff, it's a good thing on Netflix to watch. They did a quarterback, did a quarterback uh version of this, I guess last season. Um, and it focused on like mahomes desmond ritter from the falcons and then one other uh guy I think from the vikings. But it's interesting, it's a fun little thing to watch.

35:51Hayden:Um, watched house of the dragon, yeah I finished house of the dragon season two I was kind of disappointed with the uh I was disappointed with the whole season.

35:58Mitch:Well, it just felt like a lack of action.

36:01Hayden:Episode 4 was the only episode with some action. Everything else was the Damon tripping balls show. Yeah and talking.

36:09Mitch:And while I know they had to find reasons for the other dragons, I do think it's kind of a cop-out to say, oh well, these have, you know, valerian blood in them. I mean, that's from the book, I know, but I don't know. I just felt like it was kind of a cop-out, like, oh yeah, these three guys, yeah yeah. But then I saw something. They were like oh yeah, well, we didn't want to have the big fight at the end of the season because we wanted to build suspense for the next season.

36:38Hayden:I'm like, well, but you guys had what eight?

36:41Mitch:episodes. Yeah, so you're supposed to build suspense to the final episode and then give us something and then leave a cliffhanger?

36:47Hayden:Leave us something and then a season?

36:49Mitch:Yeah, give us something Instead.

36:50Hayden:I watched an eight-episode season that was a teaser to season three.

36:54Mitch:Yeah, I feel like I wasted my time.

36:57Hayden:Yeah, I wasn't happy about it. Rachel wasn't happy about it either, because we were both like that's just.

37:01Mitch:Granted. I like the whole story and stuff. But I just felt like I was like I wasted my time with all this buildup when I could just wait and watch next season.

37:09Hayden:Because season one was so much better.

37:10Mitch:Yeah, and I know that they probably because, like the show Shogun I don't know if you watched that, but that's kind of what they did Like they let up all this stuff, All this stuff's about to happen, and then it just ends Like no action , nothing, nothing, you know. I don't know. It just feels like a. It makes it feel like a letdown at the end of the season Because nothing, there's no conclusion to everything that built up. So wasn't a big fan of that. I did watch Cobra Kai, Part 1 of their final season because, Part 2 comes out in November, but to me it does a really good job of. They've built up this thing where Johnny and have you watched Cobra Kai? Well, johnny and Daniel LaRusso have. Basically they've joined teams to fight John Kreese and his

38:00Mitch:Cobra Kai-esque group that he now is now leading, which Daniel LaRusso and Johnny's kids like actual kids and the ones they're teaching are all like they look like teenagers and then John Kreese and his people they're all supposed to be teenagers, but they all look like they're going to kick butt and they're supposed to fight each other in this and they look at least 10 years older than the other kids.

38:27Hayden:They're in their late 20s and still in the primes of their lives.

38:30Mitch:Yeah, and they're out there, like when they fight each other they're like bleeding and like holding, like looks like broken arms and stuff with their own people and they're about to fight these kids that are afraid to get a bloody nose. I'm doing karate, exactly and you guys are like. But the show does a really good job of building up the suspense for a mid-season finale Because , without spoiling it, they lead up to what they call the Sekai Tekai, which is like this, basically Olympic level of contact karate sport, and it leads up to the start of that tournament getting ready to start, and there's some drama and betrayal and stuff that leads up, and then there's a big reveal right before, at the end

39:12Mitch:of part one, because, like I said, part two comes out in November. I feel like that show's done a really good job and this is its final season, so it's on Netflix as well. If you get the chance, check it out, because you haven't seen any of it, have you?

39:27Hayden:I've seen like clips and stuff. I know what it is. I mean, do you ever watch karate kid?

39:30Mitch:like, yeah, I've seen the karate kid movies it's pretty good because it is neat how they they tie in all of the old movies to the current stuff, like pretty much every bad guy that they face has a role in one of the seasons, which is pretty cool. Let's see, I've been watching Mary Kingstown, which the Jeremy Renner show. Yeah, season three was brutal, like it was pretty good, and then it leaves off with several mean, without spoiling who, several characters die that have been in the show since the beginning and you just I didn't expect that to come to that they walk in deaded you yeah, I mean what I mean because, yeah, I mean it's yeah, I can't say a whole lot of real spoil who it is, but you just don't expect them to die and then all of a

40:22Mitch:sudden they're just, they're gonna be gone because they're definitely dead. There's no, like you know, no car blow up but no body found or nothing like that.

40:37Hayden:They are dead. Dead like not coming back.

40:39Mitch:But each season, like , the stakes have kind of been escalating and this one does a good job of raising it even further but keeping it within the realm of, you know, possibility. I guess they had, like, I want to say they had to bring in the National Guard because there was a prison riot and then that kind of once that went away in season two they've gone back to this, to where it's. It's more like the, I think it's, I guess the blues Crips. So it's like the Crips and the and the uh we call it the Aryan brotherhood or whatever. They're kind of worn over who controls the uh, kingstown kind of Island, prison Island or whatever. But then you also have the Russians that moved in as well. Not the Russians, because there was a vacancy after season one,

41:27Mitch:a vacancy after season two, so that the Russians moved in.

41:34Hayden:Lord Jesus, why would anybody live on this island?

41:36Mitch:Well, that's the whole thing. The island is basically eight different prisons, so pretty much everyone that works there or that lives on this island is either works at the prison or, like the few shops that are around, like you know, the pizza shop and the salon or whatever in the little town, and other than that, it's pretty much the prisoners and people that work at the prison that live on this island, sheesh, but I want to say it's like in Michigan or something like that, but it's pretty cool, it's a good show and then it's kind of a. You know, I'm trying to think of this guy's name. Oh, I didn't want to play it, I just want to look at it. Da-doom, what is this guy? Phone turns sideways. My phone's being difficult.

42:22Mitch:Nope, nope, nope, nope. I'm looking at a gorilla trying to peel a peanut. I'm trying to pull up the information about this episode or the show, and it's just wanting to play this episode. Come on, Mitch, you can do it. I trust you. There we go. The show called Tires with Shane Gillis. You know who Shane Gillis is.

42:45Hayden:Yeah, I know who Shane Gillis is.

42:47Mitch:It's basically he works at a tire shop and it's cheesy as far as the comedy, but it is pretty funny because basically it's like his boss is the son of a guy that used to work there that runs the tire shop. Well, he's kind of retired and left it to his son, his son of a guy that used to work there that runs the tire shop. Well, he's kind of retired and left it to his son, his son's an idiot. Yes, and so Shane Gillis' character is just trying to like convince him how to run the shop.

43:12Hayden:It's like Horrible Bosses the show, but with Shane Gillis.

43:15Mitch:Well then, like I guess, the division manager comes in and he's like well, we've got to take a guy and we've got to move him to another shop. So he's trying to teach him you know, this is what you need to do to show him that your shop's good enough not to be closed down. And he's like well, we need one other person, let's take this guy. And he's like no, no, no, don't take that guy. And Shane Gill's character to the other shop. I actually got to work, but basically it's a tire shop. They're working around us, mechanics and stuff.

43:49Hayden:And they don't want to actually do their jobs.

43:50Mitch:Yeah, there's one episode where they're like oh yeah, we got to make the shop more friendly to women, that way women feel comfortable coming in here. They're just really creepy. As a woman comes in, he like stands up next to him. He's like it's almost like he's like flirting with him. He's like yeah, you got some big tires, I got some big tires, Just weird stuff. It's funny though.

44:16Hayden:That sounds like some Shane Gillis stuff.

44:19Mitch:And then but like the guy that's the boss, he puts up all these posters like we love women trying to be like. He thinks that would make them feel more comfortable.

44:28Hayden:No, no, it's the total opposite.

44:33Mitch:It's got. Let's see Shane Gillis, steve Gerben, chris O'Connor I think Steve Gerben's the other guy to the right.

44:42Oh, yeah, yeah.

44:45Mitch:But it's not a bad show. Chris O'Connor, steve, I think Steve Gerben's the other guy to the right, oh yeah, yeah, but it's not a bad show.

44:51Hayden:I mean it's not like number one comedy but it's pretty funny. I like his YouTube thing or whatever show Shane Gillis was doing. It was like sketch stuff and his was Isis Tires or Isis Automotive and he was Bob Isis who ran Bob Isis Deal or Isis automotive and he was Bob Isis who ran Isis Bob or Bob Isis dealership and he's like they're trying to get like to put like a suicide bomb vest on. He's like no, I don't know if you saw, I don't know if I showed you that one, like when he did the uh, trump dating, uh, speed dating thing. I have not seen that yeah, it's something like that, but it just gets worse and worse and worse. I see that they're doing Kenobi Season 2.

45:29Yeah.

45:31Hayden:Which they said is going to have Darth Maul in it.

45:33Mitch:Oh really.

45:34Hayden:Yeah, because they got a poster up here.

45:37Mitch:Oh, that's pretty cool. I hadn't seen this.

45:38Hayden:Kenobi, you got a clone trooper. It looks like Commander Cody. Black and white. It looks like young Luke.

45:44Mitch:Skywalker, I know they have the Disney 23 convention kind of thing.

45:48Hayden:That's where a lot of this stuff comes from you got Jabba's Palace, you got Jabba the Hutt and then you got the Bounty Hunter Wookie.

45:57Mitch:Oh yeah, from the Book of Boba Fett, mm-hmm. Okay, the Book of Boba Fett, mm-hmm.

46:03Hayden:Okay, and then they're doing Popeye, the Sailor man 2025, starring Will Smith as Popeye. You know, I don't feel like I can predict the future, mitch, but I have a hunch. This movie is going to bomb. Call it a hunch, you know to bomb. Call it a hunch. You know a premonition if you will disturbance in the force is it already announced our release date?

46:32Mitch:if not, I bet you it never comes to fruition.

46:35Hayden:I mean it's supposed to be next year we'll see. Popeye Will Smythe. It looked like Will Smith was going to be in it and Conor McGregor Okay okay.

47:02Mitch:Well, they also have a production has officially wrapped on Danny Boyle's upcoming zombie horror.

47:07Hayden:28 years later, oh, so it's like factor fiction about it. It's like don't start making plans to see it because it's fiction oh, okay it's like it's a post originally from Facebook that describes itself as 100% satire fake news, but that hasn't stopped the entire internet from going. Why, like, is this actually a thing?

47:29Mitch:but anyways, the, uh, the 28 years later, it's gonna come out on june 20th of next year. Um, looking at the what you call it, uh, the poster, you kind of see this guy wearing a gas mask and in the distance you see Big Ben. He's kind of standing on the water side but it says day one exposure, day two infection, day 28 devastation, year 28 reclamation. So I guess maybe they're trying to take back England or London. So we'll see. Also you have now streaming is the Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is the animated movie that came out, I guess, last year. They actually have like a cartoon version of that as a TV series which it's streaming now. If you have Paramount plus, um, it's streaming now and it's

48:26Mitch:supposed to be like a tie in between the first movie and the second movie they have planned. Yeah, here's some kind of like construction in the distance happening out there. Uh, they gave a first look at the live action stitch movie.

48:43Hayden:Why are they doing that live-action Stitch looks kind of cool. Yeah, he looks good, he looks good.

48:47Mitch:He doesn't look like the original Sonic before they changed it yeah, with the messed-up eyes and everything it's like you need to change that right now, because we are not going to go see that movie. I think Stitch could be a fun live-action movie, depending on who the actors are or the actresses are. Yeah, it could be done.

49:05Hayden:It could be done.

49:06Mitch:Samuel L Jackson needs to be like the CIA agent.

49:13Hayden:Him or Ving Rhames.

49:15Mitch:Oh yeah, ving Rhames would be better, just because he's more the size and he has the more serious without the MF-er quotes they have Daredevil Born Again, which they revealed . The Punisher will be part of it for sure. There's also going to be the White Tiger, which is a character who basically gets his power from a medallion that he wears which makes him super agile, and all that kind of stuff Like the Black Panther Pretty much. But the White Tiger yeah pretty much Same thing, but it's also revealed that the show's already been renewed for a season two. It hasn't even come out yet, right, which I mean. I guess that means that the people who have seen parts of season one have yeah, go ahead and green light season two,

50:05Mitch:because we're going to make it. But I mean to me bringing back the original Daredevil character , the actors and stuff is the way to go Because, granted, the original series was Netflix. The fact that they adopted it in with Spider-Man Far From Home, and now that they're continuing it, I feel like it'll be good.

50:26Hayden:Where he catches the brick and he's like, how'd you do that? And he's like I'm a really good lawyer. And he just puts it down.

50:31Mitch:Yeah, that's all you needed the fact that you acknowledge that he is Daredevil .

50:35Hayden:In a movie.

50:36Mitch:Yeah, and what makes it cool is the fact that he caught the brick faster than Spider-Man did, which gives credence to him being a really good lawyer.

50:48Hayden:He's a really good lawyer.

50:51Mitch:Disney also announced a Freakier Friday, which is going to be a sequel to the.

50:55Hayden:Freaky Friday with Lindsay Lohan and Jeremy Lee Curtis.

50:58Mitch:Yeah, and supposedly they're both reprising their role. But yeah, it was 20 years ago that movie came out, so we'll see how that goes. Wow, it's been announced for 2025. The Agatha All Along which Agatha was the bad guy in WandaVision yeah, it comes out on September 18th of this year and they said along the lines of Werewolf by Night, it's going to be like a true horror series. So I'm interested to see how that goes, with it being, like they said, like the first episode is kind of a musical, like comedy, and then it delves into Just goes off the rails right there. Yeah, they say it delves into darkness and like creepy good horror. Okay, so, because it'll start September 18th and then it'll play its season, which I'm assuming will be probably six or

51:48Mitch:seven episodes, all the way through October. All right, so that'd be interesting to see and then I didn't see what Guinness World Record he set.

52:00Hayden:but I know Wesley Snes actually set a record um, like longest running, or like the only actor to play a character yeah live action for money because he showed up his blade and deadpool and wolverine .

52:20Mitch:Uh see, it says the actor returned as the half-vampire Daywalker Blade in Deadpool and Wolverine 25 years and 340 days after his first playing the character in 1998. And this makes him the actor with the longest career as a Marvel character. So that's his Guinness World Record.

52:36Hayden:Yeah, because Hugh Jackman.

52:37Mitch:Yeah, because even more so than In 2000. Yeah, even more so than Hugh Jackman. So so he's got him by two years . Yeah, so now Hugh Jackman just has to continue to play.

52:46Hayden:He's got to come back in three years as Wolverine and take the title back.

52:49Mitch:And supposedly Ryan Reynolds is actually pushing for Wesley Snipes to appear in more stuff, like with the whole multiverse kind of thing going on, to make a few more appearances and supposedly, uh, because, granted, you know this kind of some of this is kind of spoiler, but the movie's been out and it's been spoiled for me that these characters are in it . So I was pulling it for you, uh yeah take that internet, uh. But channing tatum playing gambit, uh. Supposedly they liked it enough to where they're in talks with having him play gambit when the X-Men finally show up in the Marvel, so that would be cool.

53:27Hayden:He finally gets to do it.

53:28Mitch:Yeah, I mean, granted , from what I've heard, he does a really good job in this movie, so they're looking to keep him around.

53:37Hayden:And what's his face? Chris Evans coming back as Johnny Storm.

53:41Mitch:Yeah yeah, that was a surprise. Like I didn't expect that to happen. I thought he would come back as Captain America or something I didn't expect, Johnny Storm.

53:50Hayden:No, he was going to be Cadbury. He just goes fling. I was like ah.

53:52Mitch:There it is. And then you have Daphne Keene. They're pitching her as becoming the main continuity Wolverine when, like in the comics, basically she is Wolverine now and Wolverine just is himself. Some people call him Wolverine like Cyclops and that, but most of the time he just goes by Logan. So there is an old version of Logan that has been in the comics, and then X-23 has taken over the moniker of Wolverine, so you can have both of them, which is kind of cool. This is our first recording since they announced that Robert Downey Jr will be playing Doctor Doom. So what do you think about that ?

54:36Why.

54:39Mitch:Just going back to the whale, I think that he's playing a version of Dr Doom and I think they're doing it to throw shade off of who they really cast, which they haven't revealed. But I think Killian Murphy will still be Dr Doom.

54:58Hayden:This is like an alternate timeline.

55:00Mitch:I think this Doom will be like, because they're wanting him after. King the Conqueror got screwed up because the guy committed crimes. I think, after that screw up, they're wanting this Dr Doom to basically be the one that steals the Infinity Gauntlet and tries to create the battle world, which is basically you take all these different multiverses and he's trying to combine them into one. And this Doom basically wants to play God because he's got the Infinity Gauntlet and then. So I think that's what they're going to do and I think the actual Doom that will be the continuity one will be Cillian Murphy or some other actor. I think they're just kind of throwing a teaser out there for this Doom Instead of Tony Von Doom.

55:41Mitch:Yeah, I think it's just. I think it's misdirection.

55:47He'll play a version of Doom.

55:49Mitch:I bet All right, all right, but that's just a guess, I don't know.

55:53Hayden:Who knows anymore man .

55:57Mitch:Who knows, I know me. You and Hayden were kind of texting back and forth like we're tired of after that little video I sent y'all about hearing the origins of Batman and all that. Yeah, but I really feel like Marvel needs to start over. Yeah, because, kind of like in the video I sent y'all, I don't care about these new characters as much. No, because they're just introducing characters into the grand scheme as opposed to like building up the story of who this character is. Yeah, which is what they did with the original MCU. They get you invested in the character and then combine them into a story. Not, oh, here's this character. We're going to make a movie about him in another three years , mm-hmm.

56:35Mitch:So I don't know.

56:38Hayden:I'm hoping that they'll change their plans, or at least they're kind of sputtering a little bit right now with these crap ideas.

56:51Mitch:I do hope that they'll just kind of abandon the whole Avengers stuff and focus more on the X-Men and Fantastic Four, and then they can bring the Avengers back in later on for something else.

57:07Hayden:I don't know what they're going to do. It's so convoluted now I've lost track.

57:12Mitch:I mean I wouldn't mind seeing them just focus on the X-Men and then eventually you know like the government want to step in and then they call the Avengers in to stop the X-Men. So then you get your Avengers versus X-Men and then go on from there or something like that. But they kind of need to lay it back on the Avengers, because the actors are kind of getting stale as far as like seeing them all the time and there's no real growth in their characters at the moment because we're just seeing them for a short amount of time and all these different things as opposed to developing their character. Winter Soldier could have a movie of his own exploring his past, what he was doing all that time he was gone and having to

57:54Mitch:basically deal with the consequences of all those assassinations that he committed throughout the years.

58:00Hayden:Because it just kind of got so. They got dumb Like Thor, started out, just immature, yeah , but kind of serious about who he was, and then now he's just a drunken idiot.

58:10Yeah, you know which technically Mark.

58:13Hayden:Ruffalo started as, like you know, smart, but everybody was like walking on eggshells around him because they knew he could go crazy and kill everybody in the room and like and kill everybody in the room and Tony's just zapping him just to see if he'll do it, but then he's like I'm always angry . And then he's just like he had the dual care, but now he's just like a joke.

58:32Mitch:To me they need to do one more Thor film and not placate to the feminism and all that stuff. Just be real. He's supposed to be the king of Asgard. He needs to take on that mantle Finally, before they stop making movies with him Because Thor's supposed to take over as king of Asgard, not Valkyrie. Just do it, do the thing. Do it, do the right. My name is Hayden. I did see something where they're in serious talks about making some kind of Wolverine Hulk either movie or having a major scene where they have a confrontation between the two of them and Hulk picks him up, rips him in half and throws him, and then Wolverine has to crawl the entire way back to get to his legs. Well, from the little snippet that they have in the Deadpool

59:23Mitch:movie. They got a lot of, I guess, comments or stuff about that. So they're really considering, if they do an X-Men versus Avengers, having that be one of the scenes, wouldn't Wolverine kill him. Well, technically, hulk can't be killed, and neither can Wolverine.

59:39Hayden:at that point, Does he stab him through the head?

59:44Mitch:He does and it basically knocks him out. But at the same time there's different versions where, like, if Wolverine stabbed him through the brain, it would knock out the Hulk long enough for him to be probably captured or at least change back into Bruce long enough to be captured. There's another part where you know. There's another version where Wolverine gets torn in half and has to pull himself back together. Basically.

1:00:07Hayden:And, like just you know, reconnect himself and heal .

1:00:10Mitch:Yeah, so I mean there's different versions. They could do whichever one they wanted to go with, but I definitely feel like they should focus more on X-Men, because they have a whole franchise there that they could build off of that really hasn't been tapped Exactly Well, in a couple of years. Yeah, they kind of we're not counting Dark Phoenix. I mean they kind of like, just like disregarded the whole Skrull invasion thing. Now they haven't done anything with that. They haven't done anything with the Eternal. No, they the Eternal.

1:00:39Hayden:No, they were just the one movie and that was it.

1:00:41Mitch:Which, even if you don't want to use those characters, that's part of the MCU. You've changed the Earth. There's an Eternal with his head and hand sticking out of the ocean. That should be addressed at some point, you would think.

1:00:55So I don't know.

1:00:57Hayden:Too many cooks spoil this too. Yeah, there's too much happening.

1:01:00Mitch:I did see there's the trailer for the Skeleton Crew TV show which is going to be based off of Star Wars, which to me that could be interesting. I'm just afraid they're trying to go too kid-friendly with it because there's like several kids in the show that'll be characters.

1:01:16Hayden:Yeah, there's like this little elephant-looking character.

1:01:19Mitch:It's almost like a bipedal elephant character. That's little like character. It's almost like a bipedal elephant character. That's little like a baby elephant. And then you find out that Jude Law's character, at least from the trailer, is assumed to be a Jedi. So he's a Jedi that's out there in the world somewhere or out there in the universe. I'm interested to see that, but I'm afraid they're going to be too kid-friendly with it. I understand it's supposed to be for all, supposed to be for all, you know, families to be able to watch. But you know, I don't know. I just I want Ahsoka season two . Disney sucks.

1:01:52Hayden:Disney sucks.

1:01:53Mitch:I didn't see the Kenobi trailer. I'll have to watch that I think it's actually probably spoofed too.

1:01:58Hayden:It's probably pure satire.

1:02:00Mitch:It might be I'll have to see, but I know I want to see Ahsoka season two. That needs to come out. There's a trailer for the Mandalorian, the movie they're making. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm interested to catch up on that. Other than that, that's pretty much it as far as what I've seen anything from. That's about all I got for news interviews, All right well, my name is Hayden. I'm.

1:02:25Hayden:Mitch, I'm Tom yeah.

1:02:28Mitch:That's all we got for today. That's it.

1:02:29Hayden:That's all you get Get out of here. Go home, stand up short Short.
