So we're going to have an extensive review by Tom of the Elden Ring Erdtree DLC.

2:26ShareShadow of the Erdtree it happened. We talked about it and now it's out. I'm like 40 plus hours into it.

2:33ShareHayden:I was going to ask you have you beaten it or are you at the final boss?

2:35ShareI'm still at the final boss. I haven't beaten Radon, mega Radon, super Radon, like Radon Prime, not Scarlet, rotted on with no feet on his scrawny horse like nope, like this is prime radon, yeah, and it is it is rough.

2:54ShareHayden:I did see where one of the streamer people I forgot his name, but he was fighting radon and he did something like so much happened all at once that it spawned two bosses at the same time.

3:04ShareFrom like it glitched out yeah so he was fighting two radons at once and he's just, oh my god, I can't even like he was just well, radon has like a super move when you get him the second phase, where he's like doing these like shadow attacks at you with just rapid succession, yes, where she's like. And then it's just he's just coming at you repeatedly and you're rolling, rolling, rolling , rolling. You're just watching your standard, and then he's just coming at you repeatedly and you're rolling, rolling, rolling , rolling. You're just watching your stamina bar go boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, and then he's still coming. You're like ah, and then you're just shouting at your two NPCs and your mimic going hello help, Just take his attention for a

3:37Sharesecond. So one thing I will say I realized these bosses do not give a crap that an NPC is stabbing them repeatedly, lighting them on fire. Your mimic is hitting them with stuff. They are literally taking the shots. They'll look at them and then they immediately snap right back to you and you're trying to heal. It's like putting in place, like, and then they just come right back at you and you don't even get a chance to breathe half the time.

4:39ShareYou were out of the state so there was nothing really you could do. I was, I got off work and then I went to sleep and then I woke up, had it all downloaded and I was just like woo. So I will say it's got a 7 out of 10 rating on Steam, which I'm a little surprised, but it already sold like 5 million copies in three days after it was released, which was a lot. I mean, that's good for just a standalone game, let alone a dlc .

5:10ShareHayden:Well, I mean, I know a lot of people I say people, a lot of developers are still mad because they get. They gave so much for this dlc and it's still not.

5:19ShareYou know, pay to win, yeah, you know season passes, all yeah all that stuff, you know, paying money for great loot that you can't get in the game. That will make the game easier, all that crap. This is just. We basically got Elden Ring 2.

5:33ShareHayden:I mean, yeah, it's. I mean, the size of this DLC is basically a whole other game.

5:38ShareIt's. I mean they said it was about the size of like Laernia.

5:40ShareHayden:This DLC is the size of it's not a whole other elden ring game.

5:45ShareNo, it's like a half of an elder yeah, this the map is like half the size and the map is very vertical. Yeah, it's a big map, but there is so much layer to it where, like you don't really realize that at certain points, like you're way above where you were or you're below where you were, yeah, and having to go and crisscross through the map and figure out where to get the things as far as size, though, it's about half of what the original Elden Ring was but it's more than what some games come out modern day. So, as of this recording, I've beaten nine of the Remembrance bosses.

6:19ShareHayden:I've beaten two, two, two he got two. Let me see, let me I'll tell you who all of them are. I beat the fire or not.

6:33ShareHayden:Yeah, the lion guy me , me, tom, and our friend evan help us beat him um. And then, uh, I beat the. Uh. What's her name? Rolana, rolana, tom, listen to me as I beat her because it was easier to do it with my mimic.

6:49ShareI did all this without Mitch, our friend, evan Hayden, any outside real people summons. If there was an NPC summon, a lot of people would be like, oh you didn't just do it by yourself, screw the people, screw them. I'm playing the game. I the people, screw them. I'm playing the game. I can summon these NPCs. I'm summoning the NPCs. I can do the little ding-a-ding-a-ding and get my mimic going and watch him not do anything. I was running from a boss and he was chasing me. My mimic was running after me and I'm like, no, you idiot, go get him.

7:22ShareHayden:I'll just say it's like me with Call of Duty. Y'all complain how I like to play Call of Duty. I pay for the game. I play it the way I want. We bought Erdtree, we bought Elden Ring. We're playing it the way we want.

7:40ShareSo here's the 10 remembrance bosses. To beat the DLC, you have the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, which you fight first.

7:44ShareHayden:It's terrifying. Which is horrifying? Because it eats you.

7:47ShareYeah, Wait till you get to the Golden Hippopotamus. Oh, great, which is not a remembrance boss, but it's a Golden Hippopotamus. It's a gigantic boss and in its second phase it shoots like porcupine needles out of its back and then it starts like combat rolling at you where, like it just drops to the ground and explodes them out like a grenade and there's not much you can do. Rolanda, the sister of Rinala, the twin moon knight, that fight was brutal. I will say these boss fights were brutal, like it wasn't, as A lot of the Elden Ring bosses' stuff was telegraphed. You knew if you fought a boss two or three times, you knew what moves were going to come.

8:33ShareHayden:The original Elden Ring bosses. They would fight you and then they would back up and assess. Almost They'd give you a breather. These ones don't.

8:39ShareNo, there is no breathing. They are coming at you full speed.

8:43ShareHayden:Especially Rinala that I fought.

8:44ShareYeah, Rinala is she just keeps coming. Commander Gaius was, that was 20 plus tries.

8:50ShareHayden:He's the one on the On the horse.

8:52ShareOn the giant boar.

8:55ShareHayden:Yeah, I keep seeing on TikTok how to cheese him.

8:57ShareYeah, good luck, good luck.

9:00ShareHayden:You get him trapped in like the corner of the building and you can just area effect moves.

9:04ShareYeah, and then eventually he'll figure out how to get out of it.

9:06ShareHayden:Well, they said like when he gets halfway he jumps up into the air and he might come across the other side, but then you can just move to the other corner, and that's how a lot of people have kind of cheesed him using the like blood, the mogs like dragon thing.

9:20ShareYeah, the sword you get for right guard yeah, area of effect things yeah uh, the scatter tree avatar, that one got a broken controller. So I spiked my controller and I broke the right stick and the top and the right bumper tom has anger issues well, you know, after you fight this damn thing, you know 13, you know 30 times, and this boss is the only one in the game that has three complete phases. Okay, so there is a way to kind of make it easier. So you go. The first phase is pretty easy. If you hit him in the stupid sunflower face, you do a buttload of damage. Okay, good luck trying to hit it, because he moves obnoxiously quickly.

10:10ShareLike way too fast, but you do it and when you kill him he like falls like he got staggered. Okay, like you know the glowing red and you can do like a critical hit to him. So do that because when he comes back hes with uh, minus 25 health okay, so he's only at seven, you know three quarters of his full health, so I fight him. I did that and then I fought him the second time and I was like okay, cool, it was a two-phase boss. And I'm like I got two health flasks left. My mimic's almost dead. And I'm looking at my mimic is still standing there and I'm like wait, uh-huh, what? and then my mimic starts swinging at the ground and I'm looking at. My mimic is still standing there and I'm like wait , uh-huh, what?

10:46ShareAnd then my mimic starts swinging at the ground and I'm like what does he do? And then he starts coming back. I was like three three oh god, it was because there's one movie does you can't dodge it, you have to tank through it. I've never been able to dodge it. I didn't even get like a lucky accidental dodge where he does like the holy hand grenade explosion, like you can't outrun it to the point where you'd be safe. It's just brutal. I hate that boss. And then Mesmer the Impaler. So I would like to say I was wrong on the last time we talked about the trailer before we started to play it, where like, oh the red guy, oh that's Mikala , it's not Mikala, it's Mesmer. Okay, I think, like the sister of Melania Gotcha, he's got like

11:33Sharethe fire red hair. Now that dude is a horrible boss fight.

11:39ShareHayden:I came across a guy that I forgot what part of the map I was on, but I came across a guy that was like an npc enemy , I guess that spawns like you know the ones that are all red or whatever. I came across somebody with him that has like had something of mesmer. I can't remember his name, but it was yesterday as I got came into this church like uh, as you're going towards the shadow, keep you, veer off to the left. There's like this ruined church up on the hill. And I walked in there and he cause like I was talking to my cousin and we were just playing our. He's playing Destiny and I was playing this. But I was just talking to him and all of a sudden I started hearing somebody talk and I was like what's going on?

12:20ShareHayden:And all of a sudden he spawned in front of me like oh crap, run away. Well, he just charges after you , just keeps following you until you fight him. So I had to run to fight him. It took me like two, two or three trials and officially killed him, but I don't know who he was, but he was using like the spear of mesmer or something too.

12:37ShareSo mesmer was brutal. And then you got ramina Saint of Bud. That's some like Poison Ivy-esque woman riding like a centipede.

12:50ShareHayden:That's also a scorpion. I saw the pictures of that one, or like a video of that one, that one, that fight wasn't hard . Okay.

12:57ShareThat fight I died. It probably took me five tries. Yeah. But that was more of just being patient and not getting like roped into, like, oh, let me go for another hit. It's just like nah, nah, no, no , no, back out roll dodge. Alright, now you can hit him, the putrescent knight. That one wasn't. I don't remember that fight, which means I probably did it pretty quickly.

13:22ShareI'm trying to remember that medra, lord of frenzy flame that I did in one try that was.

13:30ShareHayden:That was a cool fight and you get a really cool weapon for doing it now and the to preface this tom's build from the original elder ring is like what you need for this new dlc, like he's already. Just like a big guy that just tanks stuff and has big swords and just do a lot of damage.

13:45ShareYeah, I dual wield colossal grade swords that are both plus 25 heavy.

13:49ShareHayden:In the original Elden Ring that was like doing it on hard mode and now that's like the easier way to do stuff in the DLC Just be able to tank stuff and hit it with big, heavy damage. I'm here to bonk.

14:01ShareSir, and then Met, met your, the mother of fingers. So yeah, I written out the big hands yeah this is the mom oh so that's a wild. It's that, uh, I got rolled, I got rinsed the first fight because I just didn't, you know, you don't know the moves. And the funny thing about it is , uh, phase jeff, he's, he had already beaten through the game and he was. He got a boss fight and he's like remember, your first attempt at a boss is normally your best run Until you know, because you die, like subsequently, you know however many times and then you finally beat it, but like the first time , you get really, really close.

14:37ShareHayden:Yeah.

14:38ShareSo, like a lot of them, like he beat in one try, he beat Mesmer on the first try, but I mean, granted, he's also beaten the game multiple times, he's gone all the way to New Game 7. Oh well, he just does like, oh, I'm going to do just punching bosses to death. He's doing one right now of beating the game only at level one. And he's already past, godric.

14:58ShareHayden:That's one thing I've learned is that you always summon the guy.

15:03ShareIf you're playing by yourself, if you see a dude who's buck naked and not holding any weapons.

15:06ShareHayden:That's your guy, that's him.

15:08ShareThat dude knows what he's doing. He knows way more than you. If you see some stoutly armored dude with the biggest cheese weapons, it's like, yeah, he's trying, he's trying, you know. But if you see somebody's like I don't even know what he's using, like you know what I don't, I don't need, I don't need to try to find out.

15:23ShareHayden:Well, that's what. When I'd go to some of these cave bosses that I was fighting, you could summon people to help you. I would always get ready to summon somebody. I'd look and be like he doesn't have any weapons at all. He's wearing like a loincloth. That's the guy I want. You're my guy.

15:47SharePut me in the mother fingers that that fight. Once I saw somebody do the fight and just like where they stood and like how they bladed off with the, the monster or the boss, I was like, oh so I went and I ran, it did it and I was like I got home and um rachel's coming over, so I was let me try to fight this guy before she gets here. I ran where the fight is initiated the fight, and I ran and I beat him. I was like okay that wasn't bad . Then Radon, the consort of Mikala. That is the toughest fight.

16:18ShareHayden:You haven't beaten that one, I haven't beaten Radon .

16:20ShareOkay, remember, elden Ring had Lemmy Solar. Yeah, this game has let me tanker or let me tank him. Yeah, I've seen that the dude's just standing with a shield and he's just taking hits and you're just like watch this health bar, like not move and he's just going nuts at this guy . He's just like don't, don't, don't, you know, holding the shield up like a freaking spartan that's what I summoned tom to fight was it. I did summon two random guys to fight Gaius.

16:49ShareHayden:Who was the one that you?

16:51Shareand they both got rinsed in the first 30 seconds.

16:53ShareHayden:What was the dual sword? Girl's name again Rolana Rolana . When you use the shield, you're like, hey, she's not hurting me . I was like that's good, but if we're on my account, if I die, we both lose. Because you were just like taking the hits. I was like that's all good for you but you're not hitting it back. I, I was, I was poking yeah, it wasn't helping me, though that's what we that was.

17:18ShareThat was the objective getting me past this character look at that point, we had already fought and died 10 times. True, we can experiment. True, we can experiment. So I was like it is tough to summon co-op players.

17:31ShareHayden:Yeah.

17:32ShareAnd like in the open, not like you know your friends and you have like the passwords set, yeah, like those gold seals appear and they're already gone . Like you hear the like it's appearing and you run to it and it's like unable to summon because someone already beat you to it and you're just like I didn't have any problem with that so far. But then again, every time I've tried to summon somebody I haven't even been to a boss fight, where it's just random that I've tried to summon- I know I did that with when I fought Radegon, because I mean Yellen Ring, like a lot of people were just doing it just for, like the rune fights in XP, just to keep fighting these guys. Because, eventually, people just had the movesets completely

18:13ShareHayden:Well, what kills me is like you'll fight some of these characters and then you'll summon other people to help you and they literally just run away.

18:26ShareYeah, it's like what are you doing? They're pushing you at them Like you go get them.

18:29ShareHayden:It's like I don't want to die.

18:32ShareHayden:And I know that wasn't the case with me, you and Evan, but when we were playing we were both just trying to get out of the way and we are all three rolling the same direction and we're all getting clipped at the same time, because he just kept charging yeah we're all. We're all like. We'd roll left, like all of us would roll left on the same time . Well then, he'd come after us.

18:53ShareWe'd all roll back at the same time, just trying to get away from him so I'm playing the game, I'm post, I'm past level 200, new game plus, you know, plus 25 dual coloss, great swords, strength, out the wazoo , endurance, dexterity, health I could take a hit these bosses, they'll rinse. I mean, I can take probably two hits back-to-back, sometimes three depending on the move, and I can roll out and heal Some of them. It's just like, in a way, you go.

19:24ShareHayden:I cheesed my guy up before the dlc and to where I was like level 251 and I had all my stuff kind of evened out and tom was like no, it's not gonna work and everyone's the same way. He's like that you just need to max stuff out. So I was like all right, hold on. So I went back.

19:40ShareYeah, because you were getting eaten by the divine beast and getting killed because, like me and evan could both take it if we were full health, we could take it yeah and live so and we're like what's your vigor level at? And evans is like you know, I'm at 280 something. I'm at nine. All right, he's like I'm at 1987, I was like I'm at 1955 I was like 15 and you're like 1500 , it's just like. That's why, like you're 400. Like, come on, get good.

20:03ShareHayden:So I went and get the larval tier and fixed it. I'm in like the 2000s now.

20:07ShareAnd now you can take hits.

20:08ShareHayden:Yeah, I don't have any arcane or intellect, you know really.

20:14ShareI will say I love playing my Giga Chad strength build because it's just fun for me to come waltzing in with two swords that are like 10 feet tall plus, if not 12 feet, jump in the air, bonk somebody watch it, do 2,000-something damage and just be like yeah. And then I medium roll because you know I'm in armor to protect those swords way so dang much because I think I'm going to cheese and just max out endurance and see if I can get to light build while holding it with good armor.

20:43ShareHayden:With mine. I forgot the name of them, but it's two twin blades that cause blood loss and you can spin both of them at the same time. But I use blood loss with what was it? I either use that or Malekith's blade, but then I've got blood loss and I've got my strength and endurance level way up so with my endurance.

21:04ShareIt raises your, was it equipment load or whatever so that I can wear the heavier armor and still be a medium build, so that helps out because , if I can wear it like the Vigaris set it's the set that Moore wears, the the pot guy it looks like it's also it's big bulky stone armor. Yeah, that looks really cool. If I can wear that and medium roll with two great swords, I'd be very happy now because like that's armor, like I could take pretty much all hits and I can still move enough to block or dodge through stuff.

21:40ShareHayden:One thing I want to figure out is I need to study more on how different armors actually have secret stats to them. That help with different things . I need to look more into that. If you want to use blood loss. There's certain ones that actually add to that a little bit.

21:57ShareSo far the best armor I think I've used. I mean, I was wearing Lionel's armor, the super fat armor, and that was good for pretty much anything. That's going to be pure strength. It's going to be like you're not fighting magic wielders or they're not going to do fire damage to you or poison scott rod, whatever holy damage. What have you? The Gaius armor has really good magic defense and strength and just normal physical and then with the talismans like the Pearl, drake or whatever, pretty much kind of put that Pretty much. I think it's probably the best armor set I've. I've had the most success with that one, gotcha.

22:40ShareHayden:I did find a little bit of armor and stuff down in one of these caves Not caves, but it's like the I don't know, it's like the little maze things where.

22:51ShareDid you find the Sauron armor?

22:53ShareHayden:No, I hadn't found that one.

22:54ShareThat armor looks so cool and the biggest sin is it doesn't have a cape. If that armor had a cape, I would just wear that. I don't care how weak the stats are because it's light armor. But you literally look like Sauron from Lord of the Rings and my character's name is Sauron. My gamertag is Sauron.

23:12ShareHayden:I have Lord of the Rings coasters. Well then, you need to go. I don't know if you've already beaten the knight that gives you the big mace.

23:18ShareI have it, I have it, I have it. Just run around with that, it's like I have it.

23:24ShareI thought like I was running around just wearing it and then I was like I was getting hit and I was like man, I'm taking a lot more damage than I used to. I was like I don't like that, I don't like that at all. But the premise of this game, well, to get to DLC like we talked about, you had to have beaten Radon and beaten Moog.

23:43ShareHayden:Yeah, and it's in the blood level area, not underneath the Citadel.

23:50ShareYeah, it's the grace where you get when you beat Moog Right, because behind him is Mikala in the cocoon thing, cocoon of death. And then you spawn out, you come back. Lita the needle knight or whatever is standing there. You exhaust that dialogue and then you touch Mikula's hand and you're transported to the shadow realm. I think it's the shadow world or whatever. I think it's the shadow realm.

24:16ShareHayden:Like Yu-Gi-Oh.

24:17ShareShadow realm. Yeah, you see Yu-Gi and Pegasus and all those guys and Joey and whatever their other stupid names are. They're the. Dark Magician, you've had to read him a trap card. There are a lot of traps, so there from what I've gathered is Mikula has made it there and like shed, like, because Mikula's a guy is a boy and has like shed, basically like, basically like his. I don't know really how to like his, his body yeah, so to speak, because you find all these steps and there's all these other npcs who are being guided by mickela who are like other tarnished gotcha that you encounter and you talk to, and some of them become your allies and some of you you're going to fight, like four of them, okay, to get to radon, like in one

25:01Sharefight. Oh, great, and you can, this was the funniest fight. You come in, they're coming at you, you hit the summons and it's like they'll summon when, like the moment's right, uh-huh, and I'm like what does that mean? And I'm like I'm fighting like for my life. And then I see one appear and I'm like where's the other? And I'm like dinging my mimic, like get the hell out here, and like more of them are coming. They're all coming at you and it's just like, oh, now here's the other one, now here's the other one. And I'm like I don't need installments. I needed the whole squad g'd up, all four of us ready to go off the bat this isn't a show up when you feel like it kind of day so like that fight took me like two, three tries and then

25:37Shareon the third try, like it was just one of those good runs, beat the first one, beat the second one, me and my mimic teamed up on the third one, so it was just the last one left and they healed back to full health and it's just that one. It was the needle knight verse. All four of us and we just ran it's just like you're just seeing swords go flying and like explosions and it's just like, yeah, I'll be watching, I'll go. And then you get like all their armor sets now, who's the?

26:06ShareHayden:I'm sure you've already mentioned it, but who's like the big dragon that you gotta fight, bail, bail that fight if you I mean if you're gonna play, you know, by yourself.

26:16ShareNo summons, no cooperators. There's an np, npc you can summon, named Egon the whatever, and like you find him going there and he's just like screaming, like that voice actor understood the assignment, like that fight. When you get him and he just like busts in and it's just like curse, you, bale, and you're just like whoa, like this dude's just yelling, and it's like you will rue the day. And I're just like whoa, like this dude's just yelling, it's like you will rue the day. And I'm just like, yeah, like the dude's just hyping you up the entire fight, and he's just like you're a true dragon warrior and I'm like hell yeah man like I was, like I don't care about my mimic, I just want you to like just go nuts during

27:00Sharethis fight. The Bale fight is wild because the lore with him was like he was the oldest dragon and the reason Plasudasax is missing two heads is because of Bale, because on Bale's back you could see two of Plasudasax's heads still bitten into his back.

27:21ShareBut the Bale fight, that is a tough one. It was tougher than Placidus X.

27:26ShareHayden:Well, because I mean, I haven't fought this fight yet , but he fills up the entire screen.

27:37ShareHayden:Was he a remembrance boss? No, he's not even a remembrance boss.

27:40ShareYou don't have to beat him, but it's so worth it. Just for that you get cool stuff.

27:45ShareHayden:It's good, you get a bunch of runes well, now, if you beat him, it gives you the ability to like. I don't know if it gives you the ability, but it's part of the quest line to where you can actually become a dragon yeah, you get the dragon like armor. Yeah, set, which is cool, yeah it looks pretty cool, it's just, it does look pretty dope and just for that voice actor.

28:03ShareLike I don't know who that guy is, but like I hope he got like double the money, because it wasn't like, oh, you're a tonnish. It's like no, this dude was like he came in like high on coke, like he was just like he's like what am I?

28:20ShareHayden:I'm just like, yeah, I was like I like the energy, I like the energy. When I first started playing he did introduce me to nightmare fuel of a scorpion and spider. He was like oh yeah.

28:32ShareHayden:Yeah, he's like go through this door. I was like why? What's in the stairways? He goes oh, don't worry, it's just nightmares.

I was like I found them all and I go and I'm leveling up and I get to 19. I got two left and I'm like what? I was like you need three and I was like, well, where is it? I was like I just got all of them and I think you get it from Radon when you kill him, okay, and then you get the final one and Moog in the base game. You're fine. You have to find the Scattertree Fragments. You're not going to do it without it, you're not.

32:52ShareLike there's because you scale quickly, early and then it kind of like levels, and then you start to go back up as you collect more of them and they actually buffed players, like the amount of damage that you can put out and damage you take with the Scattertree Fragments, because people were just complaining it was too hard and by the time they did it I'd already beaten eight of the Remembrance bosses and I'm like where was this when I'm fighting the Hippo or Rolanda or Mesmer or the stupid Scattertree avatar ? Where is that? Like I could use that help.

33:37ShareNo, it's a leveling system only for this DLC. Okay, so if you have 19 out of 20, you're 20 out of 20 in the Shadow Realm, you're a juggernaut. Cool, you're maxed out. You go back to the main game map and let's say you're level 140-something, or 150, or 160, what have you? You're still going to be like that.

Yeah, depending on who I'm fighting, like they might be weak to magic, they might be weak to fire, they might be weak to both or one or the other. So I went and I was like I went, did the cheese for four, you know a minute, so I had money to pay for it and then I went and,

34:58Shareyou know, started leveling up and I had every single stone, like I had an abundance of each one, because I'd been playing for like 20 hours yeah and I just had all of it just from running around and exploring it. I was like oh, cool. I was like, and I was like, let me use guys to spear. I was like that does gravity based attacks leveled up. And I was like, oh cool, let me go buy all their armor too. I was like, and I got all of it . Okay, I will say I mean I did a lot of exploring. It wasn't until I got about halfway through the Remembrance bosses because I was like, well, I'm going after all of them. I made that like my mission Beat the DLC, but take down all 10. Yeah, because there's a bunch of other bosses.

And you're gonna do this and you're gonna go down here and you're gonna run through there, and then, but make sure, when you're running through this wall you jump off to the side and make sure you land on this, and then you go down here and then you can go through this cave and then you go through here and then you go down and you run down here and then, hey, it forks, and what you're gonna do is not even bother. You're gonna go up here and do this, and then you're gonna get

36:47ShareHayden:I'm glad I could figure that out what killed me is I went to this one castle and I could see up on the hill looking down at the castle. There was two graces that you could unlock. So I went down to the castle and I got one of them and I could not for the life of me figure out how to get to this other grace. So I had beaten most of the castle and I jumped to these different areas and I made my way down, trying to scale the side of this castle, and I eventually got the grace. And when I got to it I realized there's a ladder that I could have climbed up from the outside of the castle to get to. But I died like five or six times just trying to get to this grave. I ended up having to drop down on top of a tarp.

37:36ShareI think, I'm almost at 50 hours now into this, which is wild that I've played that much, considering like two weeks , considering I have like 150 something hours now on my on that character alone yeah and I was like, are you telling me, I beat the game in less than 100 hours. And then, halfway through it on new game plus, and now the 40 something hours into the dlc, I was like huh, I was like man, I was cruising through the original game. Yeah, I mean, we were, we were just juggernauting our way through.

Those dudes do not go down easy , like at all, and I'll be beating the brakes off of them with giant swords, doing jump attacks, you know, plus with the talisman for enhanced jump attacks, the raptor armor to boost it, and I'm doing like

39:38Sharebarely damage on these guys and they are effing me up. It is not fun. Those dudes are some B. And then the running guy with the double spinny blades yeah, they just show up out of nowhere that can run faster than your horse sprinting. And then there's enemies you can't kill in the forest, like the shadow you can't summon Torrent at all you have go on foot oh that sucks, yeah. But there's these like scatter tree, like mini avatar, glowy head, uh, demon things. If they see you, they scream and fly right to you and grab you and kill you like you. You cannot hit them. You do not do damage against them at all. You can't kill them I don't think I've seen those, so you have to like crouch and like, stealth your way through and

40:30Sharelike the grass, and then you have to watch out, because there's certain flowers. If you bump into it, it'll, it'll ring and they'll come, fly into the spot. So you basically have to like, time their movements, when they're not looking at you, to run across and get to the next little bit of patch of grass and it's dark and cloudy and foggy and you just see their glowingness and you're just like oh yeah, I haven't come across those yet. Yeah, you have to go through those to get to the Frenzy Flame guy who basically has a sword impaled in his head and pulls it out and his head explodes. Okay, mydra. And then he's got the glowing frenzied flame head thing and he's just doing madness damage to you the entire time.

41:13ShareBut me and my mate, we beat the brakes off that guy in like 30 seconds Because I was taking damage and I did the madness thing, but so much health didn't kill me. I was like ah, and I hit him with both my swords and I watched his health bar go poof. I did a third almost damage and I was like oh okay, my memory just comes running in. I was like we just beat the crap out of that guy. He was like get the hell think you're a smart snake messing with time Needless to say you've enjoyed it. I have been enjoying this. I haven't touched Call of Duty. I haven't wanted to play Call of Duty.

You know, shadow the archery installed, it played, and then I touched the hand to go to the new world yeah and then my game just froze like it wasn't doing anything. So I backed out of the game, closed it, turned it back on and then I couldn't load into my character, would go 25 on the bar and then when it wouldn't go at all, oh and like the game's like you know, oh, like backing out could cause like damage to your file and I'm like if I lost my new game plus character so I restarted the game again and I loaded in as my backup character

58:20Share, as my second playthrough guy, tim tim loaded just like that and I was was like okay, so that works. So I backed out and then I loaded back into my main guy and it still wouldn't do it. So I ended up having to delete all like the local save data, uninstall the game, go through all these steps, reinstall it and like factory, factory, like reset my Xbox. Okay. And then redownload the game. And then I played in because everything was like hard stored, like all your save files, like stored like the cloud or whatever for Xbox. Okay, so I loaded back in and it was like all my characters were there and I was like, oh, and I clicked on it and I was like, yes, thank you, jesus, because if I had lost you know

59:22ShareAnd that's basically, if you're playing Elden Ring and you back out on a loading screen, the power goes out, the game crashes or whatever, and you can't load back in. You have to go through a bunch of steps of clearing certain caches and doing certain things and then uninstalling the game and then reinstalling the game, which obviously takes time, depending on your internet speed get it all back and then reload back in.
