0:28Mitch:Hello and welcome to Entertain this Podcast. Welcome to Entertain this Podcast.

0:33Tom:It's a podcast about movies, TV shows and video games .

0:36Mitch:That's Mitch, I'm Tom and on today's episode, two guys talk about something that makes no sense.

0:45Tom:I mean, it makes some sense. These are this is our our top 10 list of top 10 movies we saw way too young.

0:52Mitch:But before we jump into this list or our lists, social media oh yeah, mitch, wait, I have one and you have one oh well, you're gonna entertain thiscom, which will take you to our Facebook group and page, and then you can go to our Twitter, which is at thisentertain, our Instagram, which is entertainthis, and our YouTube and TikTok, which is entertainthis.

1:18Tom:Yeah, go to the place , Do things, listen to it, subscribe, ring the bell.

1:24Mitch:If I get sidetracked? I'm trying to look and see. Oh it got. Keep talking, tom. I'm going to look and see whether you got punished from the last episode or not.

1:31Tom:If I said the F word last episode.

1:38Mitch:Because we're using.

1:38Tom:AI chat to deduce whether or not I said the word.

1:41Mitch:It has a transcript, so I'm you'll see.

1:42Tom:How reliable is this system?

1:44Mitch:It's pretty reliable.

1:45Tom:I'm not doing it. You can't make me.

1:49Mitch:Tom.

1:51Tom:Now I'm putting my foot down.

1:53Mitch:Tom.

1:54Tom:My slipper-wearing foot on my carpet. I am putting it down. We are done with this dumb hot sauce crap. I was going to say challenge, but oh, okay, hmm, hmm, got it right there. I was going to say challenge, but oh, okay. Researching, researching, researching, seeking, seeking answer, seeking answer, uh-oh no you have to keep going.

2:18Mitch:I'm trying to figure out where.

2:21Tom:Does it just not tell you no At all?

2:24Mitch:Well, there's a place where I can do transcripts, but I don't remember where, so continue.

2:27Tom:Okay, anyway, the top 10 list. Mitch, what was your number 10 movie?

2:33Mitch:Well, in movies that I saw way too young. The first one was RoboCop.

2:37Tom:RoboCop huh.

2:39Mitch:And I want to say, well, yeah, it's the first RoboCop.

2:42Tom:Yeah.

2:42Mitch:Because you see the man like torn in half.

2:45Tom:Oh, he's like getting blown up to pieces Like point-blank range of pistols and shotguns. Yeah yeah, these are like traumatic moments for kids. It's either that one and it might be in RoboCop 2, because I saw that as well the one where, like the guy's, melting- oh, and he gets hit and he's like, yeah, he just explodes and there's like no like bones or nothing, it's just like a water balloon of pus yeah, it was uh pretty, pretty disturbing and the fact that they like basically rip him apart and drop the pieces off at the at the uh police station yeah, it's just like there's a bucket with him and his helmet.

3:25Mitch:But yeah, like in the first movie, there's the part where they break in. He's just getting shot like blown to pieces with shotguns. Yeah, it's pretty gruesome.

3:33Tom:The Djibouti dubs of that movie is absolutely amazing . It's like good shot, kid, you got a name. Murphy, murphy and the movie ends murphy, mine's terminator. Terminator the first, the first one with arnold schwarzenegger. No, why is that? Uh, I was too young when I saw that. So when he like it's like, oh, my mom's like, oh, it's arnold schwarzenegger, and like I didn't really get who he was yeah like I don't even think I'd seen predator at this point, or appreciated predator like I do now yeah so it was just him being this like psycho robot from the future, terrorizing 1980s los angeles, especially where he goes into the police station yeah and he's just like or like or going through the, the club, whatever that they're at first, and then the police

4:18Tom:station just gunning down people left and right. I was kind of like kind of I won't say gave me a nightmare, but I kind of like ugh, kind of I won't say gave me a nightmare, but I kind of thought about it. I mean, I don't believe it.

4:35Mitch:The AI trusted the AI the.

4:37Tom:AI didn't lie. Fake news.

4:39Mitch:The AI doesn't lie.

4:40Tom:This is AI you purchased. I want a consultant with my own AI. Pay for it. No, I'm not doing it, tom.

4:48Mitch:No, tom, there's a clear distinction between the word you said and the reason you said. I said freaking.

4:57Tom:Well, it's because I enunciated more, I mumbled.

5:00Mitch:Oh, that's how it works.

5:02Tom:It doesn't matter, we're already in the middle of a new episode. It doesn't count, you're too late.

5:05Mitch:No, that's because you were going to get punished this episode.

5:12Tom:Yeah, but I can't challenge plays in a football game.

5:15Mitch:The next game.

5:15Tom:You should. No, you can't retroactively change stuff, mitch.

5:18Mitch:I'm just saying.

5:19Tom:Anyway, what's your number?

5:20Mitch:nine I'm just saying, I'm taking a picture of this.

5:22Tom:Okay, take a photo all you want, it's not real.

5:29Mitch:Tom's skating out on his responsibilities, just saying Start calling you Hayden, yeah, anyways, yeah. The next one I saw, because I was at least still in the single digits, I saw Child's Play that one.

5:46Tom:Yeah, I couldn't take that movie seriously.

5:48Mitch:Well as an eight-year-old kid who had a my Buddy doll, which is what that one's based on. Well, no, my Buddy. It didn't look like him, but it was like a cloth, kind of like doll, like a Cabbage Patch Kid, but it had like the hard head I had one of those.

6:04Tom:I had the red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. I didn't look at that one the same anymore. It was this tall.

6:07Mitch:I had the blue one. Yeah, it was this tall.

6:10Tom:I still have it. It's at my parents' house. It's in really pretty decent condition actually.

6:13Mitch:But child play kind of scarred me to, where my buddy slept in the closet from then on. Like he was pushed In another back of the closet didn't come out you are gonna stay there, damn you yeah, it was a kind of kind of traumatized me with with that doll sitting in the corner as I'm watching the other one. Anyways, what was your number nine?

6:35Tom:lord of the rings, the first one why is that too young?

6:38Mitch:just because of the race, I guess the race and the orcs.

6:41Tom:okay, I mean like I took it really well, like every now and then I kind of get creeped out how old were you Like in the house. I was probably. I was born in 1993. This movie came out in 2001. I was single digit still. I was like eight or nine.

6:54Mitch:So my six-year-old daughter is probably still a little too young.

6:56Tom:Yeah, Because I remember seeing the preview and I'm like I need to go see movie and like I did good through the whole movie yeah the balrog I thought was cool because, like the entire thing, I was just like because, like no one ever seen anything animated cgi wise like that ever. I'm using this as an excuse just to talk about lord of the rings, but I would get creeped out in the house in new york like if it was dark and like you kind of look, and like you kind of look like wraith, like where the rates come out of the darkness at Amon Sul.

7:23Mitch:Yeah.

7:23Tom:And I was kind of like run back into the den.

7:29Mitch:Moving on to my number eight, from Dust Till Dawn.

7:34Tom:My dad had rented it Don't say Salma Hayek.

7:36Mitch:Oh, no, no, no. Well, I was probably too young to be watching that too.

7:40Tom:Bing bong hello.

7:44Mitch:When did Dust Till Dawn come out? The?

7:45Tom:90s 1996. , yeah.

7:48Mitch:So I was eight years old, I was three. I was eight, yeah, watching that dance on the table. But then, you know, then watching the-.

7:56Tom:That's like watching like Bond movies when you're like a little kid with your parents and you're just like looking down, like my Willie feels funny.

8:06Mitch:But then you had the Quentin Tarantino amounts of buckets of blood.

8:08Tom:Oh yeah, Like far more blood than any human being could possibly possess.

8:13Mitch:As an eight-year-old it was a little much, especially when they were getting stabbed and cut in half and stuff like that.

8:19Tom:It's a little much. My next one's Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters, really I saw it when I was like four.

8:24Mitch:Oh well, yeah, That'd be kind of cool and like the librarian one. Yeah.

8:27Tom:That yeah. When she gets pissed off because they're not being quiet, and then it's like, ah, and it just comes right out.

8:32Mitch:I was like ah, I've never read again. What do? You mean read Ghostbusters, I know, but it was a librarian Pick up what I'm putting down here.

8:44Tom:Oh, okay, you're making a library joke. Yes, I thought you were misinterpreting it as goosebumps . No, never mind.

8:53Mitch:Anyways, I never slept again because my number seven was Freddy Krueger.

8:57Tom:See, Freddy, he talked too much.

9:05Mitch:That's what got me, but as a kid the original Freddy .

9:07Tom:Krueger, he didn't. I mean, he talked, but it was more creepy than it was it was too comical though.

9:09Mitch:Yeah, as the movies got went on, maybe he became just a parody of himself, but the first one, you know. There's the part I want to say, it's the first one where he, like he's on the phone with the girls on the phone with me, like his tongue, comes out of the phone and licks her cheek. That was creepy, creepy. And then there's the part where I don't want to talk to Grandma . Is it Johnny Depp's character that gets sucked into the bed? Yeah, yeah that. And it just gushes blood everywhere. That was creepy. When she's in the bathtub and through the bubbles, the hand comes out of the water. That was creepy.

9:38Tom:I remember the bubbles.

9:40Mitch:The bubbles. Yeah, the main girl. She falls asleep in a bubble bath and his claws start sticking out of the water coming towards her.

9:48Tom:I think her mom walks in and the hand just disappears . It's like all Freddy Krueger's doing to himself.

9:56Mitch:That was my number seven. So what was your number seven?

9:59Tom:Mine was Halloween.

10:01Mitch:Halloween.

10:01Tom:The original one With Jamie Lee Curtis.

10:04Mitch:See, I never found the Halloween one that scary.

10:07Tom:Well, when you're like six or seven, I understand, and your dad's like, let's watch this and it's Halloween night, it's pitch black in the house and it's like the very end where it's getting real.

10:17Mitch:Yeah.

10:18Tom:And they shoot him. He just shakes it off, she stabs him. Or the shot of him walking across the street at her and like he just doesn't break stride, doesn't speed up, slow down, it's just like a purpose walk, yeah, and then like he gets inside the house or where he starts like breaking right through, like the, the, like the closet door yeah, yeah, she like stabs him with the hanger yeah. and then like she's down and he's laying there, and then like she's sobbing, and then you just see him sit up in the background. He just pops up His head, just goes and turns towards her.

10:50Mitch:Yeah, it makes more sense now I'm thinking about it.

10:52Tom:Yeah, Because that's the part we saw where he attacks her at the house to the end of the movie and then where Loomis shoots him off the balcony and he falls and she's like and he and he's like, as a matter of fact, it was, and he looks out and michael's gone, yeah, and then the music's like and they start doing the quick cuts to all the places he was, but he's not there and you're like, where is it? Because our neighbors down the street, they, uh, they were tattoo artists and graphic artists. Oh yeah, really, really good. Their whole house was gothic styled, hand drawn, painted, everything. They would do this massive haunted house every year, like an old jalopy truck crashed into their front tree on their house

11:36Tom:with a zombie in it trying to climb out Ghosts and stuff. They had a full size Michael Myers body with the knife and it was on a hand truck or whatever , on a little cart thing on casters so they could move him around. Yeah, and they'd just move him up and down the street. You just didn't know where he was that night. He's outside your window, he's by the pool, he's at your neighbor's house, he's under a tree At night. They would just move them around and just mess with everybody on the block. So that was kind of like, and it was all the same time when I saw the movie, so it was horrifying. It's like crap, he's real.

12:10Mitch:Okay, that makes sense. Going on to my number six, aliens, ooh, I just it would creep me out because I never saw the original one until much later.

12:21Tom:Yeah, I think I saw Aliens first.

12:23Mitch:Yeah, well, because that released.

12:24Tom:Aliens was on TV more because it was like an action movie. Yeah, but like the part where the little girls hide in the infirmary area.

12:34Mitch:The little crawling ones running around that creepy. I hate spiders. Yeah, the little spider-looking ones.

12:39Tom:The face-huggers.

12:39Mitch:Yeah, those are the ones that scare me the most. Yeah, they're disturbing.

12:44Tom:I mean you really think, like you wear a helmet, it's not going through it, I know.

12:50Mitch:But they just creeps me out. I don't want to talk about it.

12:53Tom:I don't want to talk about that anymore.

12:56Mitch:That was probably around seven or eight, something like that, when that came out.

13:00Tom:Gremlins.

13:01Mitch:Gremlins yeah.

13:02Tom:Really I was like five or six when I saw that and there was like parts that were like horror and parts that were just straight up comedy gold to me. That probably warped my sense of humor. Like with the, like they, uh, they drive the bulldozer and kill the guy and crush him with it. And then the next is like the girl in the stand of stairlift gets like they like super charge it and launch her up it right out the window of the house. So it's like ah ha ha, ha, ha ha ha, it was just a wild. And then the one with the trench coat flashes. It's so stupid.

13:33Mitch:I remember that one a lot. That's why I always thought Gremlins was funny, because I was still a little kid when I saw it.

13:39Tom:Comedy whore.

13:42Mitch:I always thought it was funny when they first get wet and they start going yeah, that part was gross. My next one I saw in 1995 when it came out on VHS Species. I probably shouldn't have seen that, the one where the alien mates to have her baby, like the whole thing is about an alien that wants to have sex with guys Just cause so she can breed, but it's kind of like a mantis where, like she has sex with them and then she kills them and then it has her baby.

14:16Tom:Okay, I was thinking of a totally different movie.

14:18Mitch:It's very. It's very provocative and scary at the same time, so I shouldn't have seen either way.

14:23Tom:I was too young to be in the room when this was on.

14:25Mitch:Yeah.

14:26Tom:That's what I realized In the 90s, like parents really didn't care, they're like it's on TV. They edited it oh they cared.

14:33Mitch:They just didn't realize what the movie was because they didn't know beforehand. They just knew it was some kind of horror action movie, that's all they knew, little do they know. It's not like nowadays, where you can just look it up online to see what it's about it's like don't watch this with your kids yeah, I mean, you know, the girl's pretty good looking too.

14:49Tom:That's how my mom found out about tropic thunder because she took me, my brother, to go see that in the movies when it came out like my mom's like is that robert downey jr and blackface? And then like the whole. Like as soon as the movie started, she was like I've made a mistake and my mom was like there's no way in hell I'm going to get this is her now.

15:09Mitch:That's not her in the 90s. Her now is not bad either, let's see. Natasha Hinstrich was her name, but yeah, species came out in 95, so I was seven.

15:23Tom:Didn't need to be there, didn't need to be in the room.

15:29Mitch:All about an alien that has sex with guys to procreate. Probably wasn't a good thing for me to see Nah. But it was a good movie.

15:35Tom:It was pretty Bing bong.

15:39Mitch:Hello, we're going to have to make that a button.

15:46Tom:Bing bong. Where's the Do it right now? Bing bong, hello, hello. Anyways moving on. We got a button for it now.

16:00Mitch:What's your number five?

16:02Tom:Saving Private Ryan.

16:03Mitch:Okay, that was 1999.

16:06Tom:How old were you? I was seven, six or seven years old. I remember seeing it at my grandparents' house in Connecticut. They put it on HBO and it was on TV. Me and my brother was like oh, it's a war movie, it's D-Day we're watching and it's just like that Did God carry. it's d-day, yeah, and we're watching, and it's just like carry his arm, oh yeah, my parent, my mom, was like I don't think they need to be watching this because me and my brother like watching dudes like get lit on fire, stuff's exploding, guys getting shot and cut down before they even make it out of the higgins boats, dudes are exploding, he's like dragging the guy and his intestines are hanging out. I mean brother like whoa yeah, I guess I was.

16:44Mitch:I was about probably 10 or 11 when I first saw it, but it's one of my dad's favorite movies, so we've I've seen it so many times now, at this point it doesn't matter. Yeah, but he's like I've seen like uh clips or whatever.

16:57Tom:Like people like react to, like watching these movies or listen to the music and like they'll be like girls watching saving private ryan and they all start crying during d-day because they're just like how did they think they didn't even get off the? And I'm like, yeah, like that's what happened and it's like, and they're like there's like. And one goes like there's no way it was this awful and it was just like. It was probably worse. Actually, I will bet it was worse.

17:19Mitch:Well, that because it was real to me the, the death that really kind of gets to you, is the one where he's fighting the guy and he stabs him. Yeah, with a knife he stabs him real slow and that jerk face is just sobbing on the staircase not helping.

17:31Tom:Yeah, I hate that guy . Still Screw you up him Jerk.

17:38Mitch:The next movie I saw probably a little too young was True Lies.

17:43Tom:Schwarzenegger and Jamie.

17:42Mitch:Lee Curtis.

17:42Tom:So young was true lies Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis.

17:44Mitch:Yeah, mainly because the other girl.

17:52Tom:The other girl. Yeah, she plays like the. Uh, she's in Wayne's World.

18:03Mitch:I don't remember what her name was, but I know what you're talking about now.

18:06Tom:Why was this movie not good? Tia Carrera? Yeah, why was this movie not good for you?

18:10Mitch:Well, it came out in 94, so I was six and you know, watching Jamie Lee Curtis dance around in lingerie. Probably not six-year-olds should be watching. That I'm just saying. But between that and then there's just, you know, scenes where Arnold's like cutting people down.

18:31Tom:Yeah.

18:31Mitch:Commando style.

18:33Tom:It's like Arnold.

18:34Mitch:That and the language .

18:35Tom:The greatest action star of all time.

18:37Mitch:It was probably just a little much for.

18:39Tom:Would you say that? Would you say Arnold was the greatest action star?

18:43Mitch:of all time. It was probably just a little much for. Would you say that? Would you say Arnold was the greatest action star of all time ? Yeah, I would say that's a fair assessment, I'd say he's number one. Because while Sylvester Stallone has been in Rambo and all that stuff, Arnold's been in the bigger, better movies.

18:56Tom:Commando that aren't just sequels, predator, true Lies, I mean the list goes on.

19:02Mitch:Conan, what is your number four?

19:06Tom:I wrote the Godfather .

19:07Mitch:Godfather, how old were you when that?

19:08Tom:Well, it was already out when you that movie came out in 1972, mitch, I wasn't even a twinkle in my dad's eye. My dad was 10.

19:16Mitch:On this movie, oh, you could have been a twinkle.

19:20Tom:I remember watching. I remember this movie's taking forever and then just the quick violence of stuff. They lock the guy in the revolving door and he's screaming as the guy's just holding the gun up to him and just starts shooting him. They shoot the guy in the face, through the eye and it's just like oh my God, shoot dudes on the court steps.

19:40Mitch:Cars are blowing up okay, yeah, it makes sense, it makes sense. Move on to my number three, independence day. In 1996 I was you were fine I was eight years old. I saw it in theaters and I scared the crap out of me when they cut the alien open.

19:59Tom:Oh, it's like.

20:00Mitch:Yeah, not only did I jump, my cousin who was living with us at the time. That was 15 or 16, or maybe 17, he jumped out of his chair. Or when they had the doctor guy , yeah, and it's like yeah, he's held up to the glass with the thing around. His Like records through.

20:15Tom:Yeah, that scared the crap out of me. And then like what, adam baldwin, who's not related to the baldwins? Yeah, he's like standing there like all looking at the glass and like the president's like, like bill pullman's, like enough , and they're like cool, bang, bang, bang, yeah just with that, I mean for a kid, that was a little much there.

20:38Mitch:There was a scary part and then just, I guess, the I don't know.

20:42Tom:Oh, when all the stupid hippies get blown up.

20:46Mitch:Yeah, just watching the entire city annihilated. Where can he get beamed up?

20:49Tom:Nope Watching the Earth be destroyed. Nope, you got mini Death Star, is what happened.

20:55Mitch:Yeah, I mean now that I think about it. It's not as bad as some of the others that were already on the list, but it was pretty memorable at least. So go ahead. What's your next one? Deep Blue Sea. That's a good one, especially at the end when Samuel L Jackson's talking.

21:13Tom:Yeah, samuel L Jackson getting taken out, the girl at the end getting taken out. The girl getting taken out in the elevator shaft.

21:23Mitch:Besides Jaws, this was a successful horror.

21:28Tom:This was the Jaws is the pantheon of horror. For sharks, it is number one by far, by large. And then you got all these other horrible shark films. We've seen Sharkula.

21:37Mitch:Sharkula Christmas.

21:38Tom:Shark Sharknado, christmas Shark, santa Shark Sharknado, christmas Shark, santa Shark, santa Jaws Whatever it was called, the thousands of other dopey, giant shark versus mega octopus, or mega shark versus giant octopus, whatever but Jaws is like. The next one below them is Deep Blue Sea yeah, featuring Thomas Jane and LL Cool J, and then below that, you, you get the mic , which actually I do believe and I think LL Cool J confirmed this in an interview that Deep Blue Sea is the first horror movie where a black guy Didn't die first, oh sorry. Lives to the end. Oh, he lives to the end, he makes it.

22:14Mitch:Does he?

22:15Tom:Yeah, him and Thomas Jane are the only two that live.

22:17Mitch:Okay, I was thinking that he died in the little hallway scene when he's trying to get through the water.

22:21Tom:No, okay, or were the ? Remember they had the dummy shark? They had a dummy shark that they were practicing with which way to inject and all this stuff . Yeah, and the shark comes in the room and it nudges the dummy and she realizes it's the dummy , and then she thinks it's the dummy again and then it's flipper moves and you're just like, ah, it's real. Run away, swim Do something.

22:44Mitch:All right, so that was your number three. Yeah Well, my number two was Return of the Living Dead 2. I saw this. I don't remember this one. I'm trying to remember when this came out. I'm in charge of this fridge till Frank dies. I saw it on TV. This isn't the one that I don't think so.

23:07Tom:I think that's Because it's Night of the Living Dead, day of the Dead, I don't know. It's like springtime for the dead.

23:15Mitch:Springtime for Hitler . This came out in 1988. That's when I was born, but I saw it.

23:20Tom:Let me see who's in this movie. Show me your phone.

23:23Mitch:Those are the people in the movie, but this will kind of date how old or make me seem older than I am. But you know those dial TVs with the rabbit ears. I had one of those when I was a kid in my room and so like, if you tuned it, just right, you could get other channels that weren't like ABC and TBS, and I forgot what it was. But I got some channel that had Return of the Living Dead 2 on it and I just remember the scene where this girl, her boyfriend, had been bitten and she just kind of accepts the fact because in this movie the zombies could like, talk, like I'm hungry and she just sits down and lets him eat her brain as she cries. That disturbed me. Like she just starts crying, she goes. Okay, johnny, do it and he just and that disturbed me, for

24:13Mitch:whatever reason. Yeah, I'd be disturbed.

24:16Tom:And then, like you have, it explains why you turned out the way you did.

24:18Mitch:You have the one kid that's being bullied by his bullies that become zombies. And there's one scene I forgot what it is, but it's towards the end where they're trying to make their way to this one particular TV station or news station or whatever. But then he just walks into frame as they're standing there, walks in and he's chewing and he turns towards the camera and he's just chewing on brain, towards the camera, and he's like you're just chewing on brain. That disturbed me. Brain, but like I just remember watching it on my little dial TV with the rabbit ears. It's a movie I probably shouldn't have been watching. My parents didn't know I was watching it, I'm sure. Anyways, what's your number two ?

24:58Mitch:It yeah, that's. I never saw that until I was older. Yeah, anyways, what's your number two? It yeah, that's. I never saw that until I was older.

25:02Tom:So I was 10.

25:05Mitch:You got screwed.

25:06Tom:Even if I saw it now, if I had never seen it and I was 31 and watched it, I would still probably have the same reaction Me. My brother and my friend, john John, down the street he said he had seen it and it was cool and we're like, cool, we'll watch it, and we're. And I remember at blockbuster the case for that movie, the cover scared me because it's like it in red and then it's like the white thing but it's being ripped and it's tim curry the clown and he's like looking at you but he's got like the weird, you know three-fingered demon, you know space lizard hand. And we watched it and that movie. That's the reason I'm scared of clowns, that movie.

25:43Mitch:You're scared of clowns. It's nice to know.

25:46Tom:I'm not like you know . You're like, yeah, if you show up in a clown costume, mitch, the next thing that's going to happen is I'm going to shoot five rounds of .357 at you. Whatever gun I get to first, it's going to be 38, 9mm, .357, .223, .308.

26:00Mitch:Pick one or a 12-gauge Free comic book day is a year away.

26:03Tom:I will punch someone in the face if they come at me like a clown.

26:08Mitch:You hear that everybody. If you go to free comic book day, everyone should dress like the clown.

26:12Tom:Forewarned I will swing on you. If you don't take the hint, I might shoot at you. How old did you say you were when you saw that I?

26:21Mitch:was like 10 years old .

26:22Tom:Me and him had nightmares for like two weeks straight me, him and my brother.

26:27Mitch:It's understandable. I watched the modern day one and then I saw the original.

26:31Tom:That was like the first time I had to sleep with the light on.

26:35Mitch:Well, the next one's my first time turning the light back on, because I'd gotten to where I didn't sleep with the light on as a kid, and when I saw the Blair Witch Project, I did Because I was, let's see. Blair Witch came out sometime in the 90s, let's see. Let me look it up real quick.

26:50Tom:It was like 1999?

26:54Mitch:1999, yeah, so I was 10. Or no, I was 11. But the whole movie is based on the fact. 1999, yeah, so I was 10. Or no, I was 11. Sissy, the whole movie is based on the fact that this witch kidnaps kids, puts them in her basement in the middle of the woods and kills them. If they look at her, I was 11 years old, I should have been watching this movie, because, not only that, my dad would take us hunting with him and he would say, all right, your stand's over there in the woods. If you use your flashlight, you won't see a deer, so go in the dark. So you're having me walk through the woods with a gun in the dark after watching the Blair Witch Project. But I mean, yeah, it made me turn the light back on.

27:37Mitch:And then when I say, after I watched this, that night I didn't sleep with the lamp on, I slept with the light on.

27:43Tom:Oh, yeah, and straps like not getting me.

27:50Mitch:But I mean as a kid, because you know back then, like again, the internet was still fairly new, so you didn't know all the ins and outs about this movie.

27:58Tom:I thought it was real . It fairly new, so you didn't know all the ins and outs about this movie.

28:01Mitch:I thought it was real . It was a VHS. I was impressionable. It was one of those first, like you know, home video kind of things. I thought it was a real movie that they just you know it was old and it got re-released because you know they found the footage and they were just sharing it with the public. I don't know.

28:18Tom:I have an honorable mention I. I don't know. I have an honorable mention I was a kid.

28:22Mitch:I have an honorable mention. All right, 2002's the Ring, the Ring. Oh yeah, that would have been a bad one, my sister.

28:27Tom:She was five years older than we were. I think I was probably nine, she was probably 13 or 14. She gets it on DVD, brings it to our house to watch it. Me, her and my brother watched this movie. We all slept in the same room. I was sleeping in my bed and my brother, my sister and I was like air mattresses and sleeping bags on the floor and we had the light on because we were all like nah and we all just kept looking at the TV like is it going to do it?

28:56Mitch:Yeah, I mean, if we want to do an honorable mention, I'll say that we're Now looking back at these movies Return of the Living Dead 2, 1, 2, 3, they're all goofy. They're just dumb. But as a kid I saw the first part of Return of the Living Dead 3, where the girl it's like the guy and the girl are riding on a motorcycle. Something happens and he swerves or something. Well, he crashes, he flies motorcycle. Something happens and he like swerves or something. Well, it crashes, he flies off. She flies off and hits a telephone pole like midair and is dead. Well then, they put them in the little trioxin containers or whatever. And the next scene that I saw was her growth like zombified face pushed up against the glass when they open it and she just

29:36Mitch:comes out like, oh, like.

29:39Tom:Cracking herself back into form.

29:41Mitch:Yeah, and then my dad goes get out of the room. You can't watch this, because I made myself into the room to see what was going on. We were watching and you're like nope, because this one came out after the other one, but I saw this one first like the very beginning, and then later on I saw the other through TV there, and then later on I saw the other through TV. But yeah, there's just some things that you should watch as a kid, whether it be nudity or whether it be.

30:05Tom:Straight horror. Yeah, mostly it's horror. It's either horror or violence, like it's one of the, or you know.

30:12Mitch:Bing bong, bing bong.

30:15Tom:And you know what, you look back at those moments a little fondly.

30:18Mitch:Yeah, you do Like I saw part of Striptease.

30:21Tom:Wow, did you.

30:22Mitch:Yeah, I got told to leave before she got naked, though. Dang, Did you like linger Like I'm going, I'm going, I would, and then they would pause and go go to bed. Fine, yeah, go.

30:34Tom:It is what it is, but I mean.

30:36Mitch:God, it is what it is , but I can't do nothing in this house.

30:41Tom:I live in a prison. My number one is Jaws.

30:44Mitch:Okay, oh, I thought you already did your number one, my bad.

30:47Tom:No, that's why we did the honorable mention. My number one is Jaws. Okay, obvious reason I was three years old.

30:55Mitch:That's why Tom doesn't go to the ocean.

30:57Tom:This was 1996. My parents thought, family, it would be a great idea for me to be in the room and watch Jaws, A movie about a giant shark killing kids, beach goers, salty old Navy veterans and getting blown up.

31:15Mitch:Were you on vacation when you watched it.

31:17Tom:No, I was on vacation at the beach when we saw Deep Blue Sea. That was me. All of us were in the same hotel room. My parents had their bed, me and my brother were sharing one in the next room. We all had to watch Deep Blue Sea. Then we went to the beach the next day, me and my brother just look at the water like we're getting in there.

31:34Mitch:Nope, it's not getting me that easy.

31:36Tom:I saw the movie, I know how this works. But, jaws, I remember Quint getting bitten in half. We go after the kid and you just see the little float he's on and blood just goes out. I was like, and my parents were like, look, he likes the movie.

31:52Mitch:And I'm like I watched that movie and what terrified me is as a kid, me and my dad, we'd go out and swim to where we weren't touching the ground yeah, in the ocean.

32:01Tom:I don't do that, no more.

32:02Mitch:No, I don't do that anymore. I mean not just because of the movie, but just I mean after seeing the beginning of that movie, with the girl swimming at night and she gets pulled under for a second and she's like screaming while she's no, I don't do that anymore, nope.

32:18Tom:Nope, I've seen too many documentaries. I've seen too many weeks of Shark Week to know sharks are still dangerous in a foot of water. You are not going to get me.

32:29Mitch:I've seen too much Shark Week, and then the internet is everywhere now, so you've got TikTok and all that. You see all the videos of sharks in a foot of water just swimming along.

32:38Tom:Yeah, the only way you'll get me more than in a foot of water is if it's a very, very crowded beach, and my statistical probability of not getting bitten goes up through the roof.

32:47Mitch:Oh yeah, you've got to position yourself where you're in the middle of all the people Like, yeah, I'm not at the outskirts, I'm not an outlier, I'm not, like you know, flaunting.

32:55Tom:I'm not going. You know, flapping around the shark's like. What's up with this?

32:58Mitch:You got to give yourself that snack. Buffer zone.

33:01Tom:Yeah, I will never use a float like the kid in the movie, because I look like a seal and the shark's like dinner , Like nope, nope. You are not going to get me that easily, Ain't happening.

33:13Mitch:Ain't happening, mitch, okay, okay. Well, that's all I have for our top ten movies that we've seen too young.

33:20Tom:Movies that gave us like PTSD.

33:22Mitch:Do you have any other honorable mentions you want?

33:26Tom:Some of the Bond movies.

33:28Mitch:Oh yeah.

33:28Tom:And mostly for the.

33:31Mitch:I can't remember which one it is, but it's the one where they're in, like the pool or the steam room where she's in a towel and she wraps her legs around to like strangle him.

33:39Tom:Goldeneye, she could kill me like that any day. I mean, uh, what? Yeah, you know there's worse ways to go out. There really are like you could be eaten by a shark. You can get hit by a bus. You can get final destination by a log truck in front of you on the highway or thank you, jensen, can take you out in a spa with her legs and you'd be like you just dive with a smile on your face, just like. Dash and snoo-snoo, yeah, death by snoo-snoo.

34:04Mitch:Anyways, we'll move on to some of our reviews. Which? Did you have anything else to review?

34:09Tom:Season three of Bridgerton, the first four episodes.

34:12Mitch:Well, tell us about it a little bit.

34:14Tom:We're picking back up . It's Francesca's turn to enter into the society.

34:19Mitch:And Francesca is who.

34:20Tom:She's one of the Bridgerton girls, she's the second daughter. No, she's the third youngest daughter, because the first season was Daphne, season two was Eloise, and then now we're on Francesca, and then her brother is now like bacheloring about Colin, not Benedict. He's still a maverick, he's the black sheep of the family still sure, I don't know anything about it, but go ahead, I know uh well, colin finally proposes to penelope, who's had the hots for him since season one spoiler everybody knows the books are out, you can read them. Oh, okay, okay but she's lady Whistledown. She writes the scandalous paper Whistledown, narrated by Julie Andrews, miss Mary Poppins and the lady from the Sound of Music

35:06Tom:. So you have the society, or the ton as they call it, the T-O-N, and Lady Whistledown writes these scandalous stuff. And it's like, where did she get this information? Like she's's gotta be, like she could be anybody, but it's the girl Penelope, because she's just, she's kind of like, you know, a little heavy, so to speak. You know, still pretty pretty looking girl and but she, you know, not really gets any attention, so she's just intermingling through crowds, here's everything now and then, but she's the secret writer of Lady Whistledown. She's like richer than her family because of the proceeds from the newspaper.

35:42Mitch:Alright Well.

35:46Tom:We're breaking up the part of the season, so the next eight episodes will come later.

35:49Mitch:This is on Netflix, isn't it?

35:50Tom:Yes, and then they finally released more episodes of the Rookie. Finally, okay, and we find out that red-headed evil lawyer is. I almost called her the B word and I'm like you're not going to hear me.

36:03Mitch:It would only be justified, considering you skipped out on the other.

36:06Tom:So she's like a crime lawyer for like criminals. So she's obviously you know you're dirty and she's evil and you hate her. You want to watch her get punched in the face. But she's selling information because she had roped in a psychiatrist who was seeing cops and getting you know stuff from their private sessions that isn't, you know, obviously not going to be disclosed to the. You know privilege sells, tells them what they're saying and she sells the information to people and she's making a killing. And now she's going after the LAPD and but they're going after her too and it's totally unrealistic. She fled to Argentina or some other country and they take one of the detectives' obnoxiously trust fund rich boyfriends or

36:51Tom:husbands' planes played by Iceman Bobby yeah, whatever his face is or Lamplighter.

36:57Mitch:I can't remember Sean Ashmore, sean Ashmore.

37:00Tom:Sean Ashmore. They take his plane, they go and do like a rescue op to rescue the girl so she can turn the state's evidence against the lawyer chick. And it's just like you're not doing this, like there's no way in hell, like any department is going to if they find out, like you're telling me, you guys all called out sick. You're telling me you guys all called out sick, flew to Brazil or Bolivia and intercepted wanted criminals with the FBI on an off-the-books, no-one-needs-to-know-about operation. You got shot while killing people and now you're coming back and you're just going to act like nothing happened.

37:37Mitch:Just like nothing happened. It's the weekend Now, now, now, now, no, no, no, no. You don't do that on your weekends. What Big bong. Yeah, I got to make that a butt . It's more clear though.

38:02Tom:That's from Family Guy. That's Stewie that says it. Because he sees something and it's obviously an erotic moment and he gets a boner for the first time. He looks down at his diaper and goes bing bong, hello.

38:17Mitch:Anyways, now that Susan's done with his interviews . Oh, sorry, sorry, wow, that's's done with his interviews.

38:21Tom:Oh, sorry, sorry, wow , that's a throwback to 2022.

38:24Mitch:That's what happens when people skip on their punishments. But anyways, we'll move on to Godzilla minus one.

38:32Tom:This isn't the one with purple Godzilla and King Kong and the orangutan. This is the one that came out in November of last year. What's that? What's the one I'm talking about.

38:41Mitch:That's like New Empire or something like that.

38:43Tom:Is that out?

38:43Mitch:Yeah, it came out in March.

38:45Tom:Did it. Yeah, I didn't even watch it. I thought that was like a.

38:48Mitch:I heard that it was alright, but Godzilla Minus One is the one that was made in Japan this past year. It's on Netflix now. I guess it just came out because I just happened to see it yesterday while scrolling through. But it's a post-World War II movie, so it's based, I guess it's.

39:06Tom:In the late 1940s.

39:07Mitch:Well, yeah, it kind of takes place right at the end of World War II.

39:11Tom:During nuclear testing? Yeah, there's a. Do they use that as the catalyst of what becomes?

39:16Mitch:They don't really say a whole lot about it, but they allude to it. But then, because Godzilla goes from being like the size of a T-Rex in one instance to, after a couple of years and they've done some nuclear testing he's the size of, you know, typical Godzilla, where he's bigger than Bill.

39:31Tom:He's huge.

39:32Mitch:But it starts off where there's a guy that was a kamikaze pilot, who Wasn't good at it. Well, he, because he's alive. He kind of lost his nerve so he faked a problem with his plane, so he flew to get it repaired at this island. What? He's? A kamikaze pilot. Yes, I know he's just going to crash it anyways, but he wasn't going to make it to his target, so he went to get his plane repaired. Well, he lands and he sees these deep-sea fish that are bloated and come to the front, to the surface, and they said, oh, that's the sign that locals say that Godzilla is close by. They think it's all just like you know.

40:14Tom:Some hokey religion nonsense?

40:16Mitch:Yeah, because just the locals on the island say that. And then that night Godzilla shows up and decimates their little military outpost. And then the general or the captain I forgot what rank he was he tells the main character I think his name was Kimchi to get in his plane, because that's the only gun they have. That would be big enough to kill Godzilla. I mean, like I said, he's the size of they have. That would be big enough to kill Godzilla. I mean, well, like I said, he's the size of a T-Rex at this point Okay. Well, he gets in there, but he he loses his nerve because Godzilla's face is like right in front of the propellers. Yeah, like so he's. He's nervous about pressing the button because he knows't shoot

40:56Mitch:the captain or whatever, blames him for everyone else dying, which you know he could have shot it. It might have scared him away, but I doubt it. But then after that he kind of like it, kind of haunts him because he blames himself as well for that and for, you know, not going through with being a kamikaze pilot.

41:15Tom:He'd bring Dasana on him, his family and his cow. Bring Dasana on him, his family and his cow, and Dasana on the.

41:20Mitch:Emperor. They do a really good job in this movie where Godzilla has I think he's at 9% of the movie. But they do a really good job with the story, with the other characters when, like this guy, he's trying to. You know, he goes back home. His parents are gone because the nuclear bomb had destroyed their town and they talk about, you know, like the city was on fire for days. Afterwards he finds out Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He meets this girl who basically adopted this kid because the kid's parents were dead. Well, they all the three of them lived together and it kind of fast forwards to the next year and then it just kind of skips a couple of years as they go and there's more to the movie . I just don't want to reveal everything Because I figured you

42:05Mitch:, like Godzilla, you'd probably like to watch it, but they do a really good job of making the story about the people and Godzilla just a threat that they face.

42:18Tom:It's more about the human aspect of having to deal with.

42:20Mitch:Right, which is a lot different from the American version of Godzilla movies that they have right now.

42:25Tom:Which is just running for your life from Godzilla Right and going. Why can't we be friends with the lizard?

42:31Mitch:And I have to say the uh, the cgi is really great. The only thing I don't like about it is when godzilla becomes the monster building size godzilla. He looks a little animatronic when he's walking, like I mean it's cgi, but he's kind of got a very slow, robotic looking or if they kind of did like a sort of homage thing to like the Toho . After reading and doing some research. That's what they did, that was their point to it. But the CGI, as far as like the looks and stuff, looks really great and they give you that sense of dread because there's a part where Kim Chi is after the like a year after the.

43:09Tom:World War II wins.

43:09Mitch:Yeah, he's working on this boat that's helping find mines to cut them and bring them to the surface and destroy them so it doesn't hit their fishing boats and stuff. And they come across Godzilla and you just got this terrifying scene where Godzilla's swimming like a shark you see his head and his dorsal fin kind of things just sticking up out of the water as he's following them . They're just trying to get away . Well, they had two of the mines sitting on the back of the boat and they pushed him off to try and stop him. Well, they push one and he theorizes. The kimchi is like well, because the first one blows up, it doesn't even affect him. The second one, he's like opening his mouth and as they

43:50Mitch:throw the bomb out, when he gets in there he shoots it with the gun on the back of their boat and it blows up. And they have a really cool scene where Godzilla looks like he's dead and dying and he's like starting to sink, but then it's like Wolverine healing factor or like his face starts coming back together and then he just gets back up and then you can well, you can see that every time something like that, every time he gets injured, it's almost like he gets bigger because he disappears under the water and then that's like the last they see of him. Then they get back to shore and then it fast forwards like another year where they've been contracted to help lure him out so that the battleship that they have that's still operational

44:30Mitch:can try and kill him, which doesn't work out well. But they do a really cool thing where Godzilla's spikes on his back and stuff. When he gets ready to use his blast they start to light up, but then they project a little bit higher, starting from his tail up to his head, and when he shoots his atomic breath instead of just blowing up a building or whatever, when it hits it's literally a nuclear bomb explosion. I mean it's really cool. I need to watch this.

45:02Tom:Is this like live action or is this?

45:03Mitch:Yeah, it's live action Okay.

45:04Tom:What's this?

45:05Mitch:on. It's on Netflix, okay.

45:06Tom:The only. Thing.

45:07Mitch:CGI is Godzilla and some of the effects and stuff. It's really cool. It actually won an Oscar for best VFX, nice. It only cost $10 to $15 million to make and it grossed $115 million. Not bad Not bad, but yeah, it says it's the first period piece set before 1954, like before the original Godzilla movie. Yeah, I also found out they reused the original roar from the Godzilla movie. Good, what they did is they played the recording and recorded the recording and then they tried to update it from there. But instead of just using the recording, they actually played it on loudspeakers and recorded it.

45:52Tom:Probably to get more acoustic stuff out of it so that they can boost certain aspects of it.

45:57Mitch:It's got a 7.9 on IMDb. I give it an 8.5 because, like I said, it's a really good story . It actually makes you feel something for all the human characters in this and it makes you feel like he was originally intended. Godzilla's a bad guy. He's destroying everything, and I know when it debuted it had 100% on Rotten Tomatoes which I don't give much credence to Rotten Tomatoes but at this point now it still has a 98%. If you haven't seen it, I would encourage you to watch it. I don't know originally, but now that it's on Netflix you can actually do the English dub if you'd prefer to do it that way, or you can do Japanese and read subtitles. Okay, I do know that they had the theaters. They had it in black and white and supposedly it makes the VFX

46:47Mitch:stuff look even better in black and white, like it's the old style things Like the original Godzilla movies. So I really want to watch it that way. And then there is a very good redemption arc for the main character towards the end as well. He finally crashes that plane into a ship I won't reveal but there's a good redemption arc for the character, so I really liked it.

47:08Tom:It was a good movie. I got some video game news. Okay, elden Ring, as we know, shadow of the Earth Tree comes out this month, this month, 18 days, right here, right now, 18 days, which today's the second, so I think it comes out. I think, well, it's already available on sale, okay, for pre-order, so you can already do it. And then I got a list here, a video game release, the biggest games june 2024 and beyond. So, just looking at june, and these are of course it wants to be, these are the upcoming playstation 4 and 5 games. So destiny 2, the final shape, comes out june 4th, okay, so in two days, which I think that's the last expansion they're going to do for Destiny 2.

47:50Mitch:It's the last one for Destiny 2, and then they'll start promoting, going towards the Destiny 3 if this last part does well. I imagine it probably would. I mean they said this is going to be like the grand finale, so I imagine they've put a lot of work into it, because some of the.

48:05Tom:Destiny DLCs are kind of hit and miss as far as good story content.

48:09Mitch:And it gets repetitive very quickly, it does yeah, but the story's always been good, it's just the gameplay gets repetitive. Yeah.

48:16Tom:Killer Clowns from Outer Space. The Game Comes out June 4th why , I don't know. The Smurfs Village Party June 6th Buy it V Rising. The Roman numeral five Pathfinder. Wrath of the Righteous. A Dance of Masks. Monster Hunter Stories 2. Wings of Ruin Shin Megami Tensei 5 Vengeance.

48:40Mitch:What was that about?

48:40Tom:I don't know, still Wakes the Deep Elden Ring Shadow of the Air Tree. June 21, I guess, is when it'll be available on PlayStation 4 and 5. Gigantosaurus Dino Sports Spy Anna is coming out. Playstation 4 and 5. Gigantosaurus Dino Sports Spyanna is coming out. These are what's coming out for PlayStation this month.

49:01Mitch:I'm going to jump to Xbox and see what real games are happening. Playstation is good games. There's a lot more games coming .

49:06Tom:There's not a lot, but there's more. Destiny 2, we just talked about Killer Clowns, the games the Smurfs. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 plus 2.5. Remix. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8, final chapter prologue. Kingdom Hearts 3. I guess it's coming to Game Pass or something. Same games. I just talked about Elden Ring. All right, so June 21st will be the release then.

49:32Mitch:Okay.

49:33Tom:I'm guessing for Shadow of the Urtree, which is supposed to be all open world. It's like a whole new area. You get that's pretty cool and Mikala is like your spirit guide .

49:46Mitch:Okay.

49:47Tom:Because, if you recall, we don't ever see Mikala in the story for Elden Ring.

49:54Mitch:Oh, we don't.

49:59Tom:No.

50:02Mitch:You only see Mikala's hand in like that weird egg crap when you fight.

50:04Tom:Moog oh, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I guess Mikala's out and about town now these days, but apparently it's like the size and scale of how much of a dlc, that it's basically just a new game.

50:19Mitch:Well, one one thing that I saw it said that the size of the new dlc will basically be the size of limb grave, which is that first area that you can come to but there's two more areas.

50:28Tom:There's like another area you can go to that's smaller, okay. That's like mission stuff that you can go do. But you can explore and do open world stuff too, okay. But it's not like Elden Ring was like quest-driven stuff. There's no quest log, no checkpoint markers to go to. It was. You got told something and had to remember it and had to go figure out what the hell they were talking about.

50:47Mitch:Yeah, I don't even know.

50:52Tom:here's what you're supposed to do you come back like a month later like where am I? Like you didn't do it and I'm like do what it's like remind me , and they're like no it's like that video.

50:59Mitch:I said joe from moon night. When he wakes up he's got a gun in his hand, like what's going? On that's that's he's in the middle of a chase.

51:06Tom:We just knew like, keep exploring north and fight bosses, yeah. And then like, oh, you like, oh , you got to go. And then just looking stuff up, like, oh, you got to go here and fight this person. And then we accidentally fought Melania yeah, me and you fought Melania when it was like she got accidentally buffed, yeah, and it was the hardest it had ever been to fight her.

51:23Mitch:We ventured up that way and we realized you didn't even have to fight them to finish. Finish the story.

51:28Tom:No, we just did it to do it. We beat everyone. Yeah, I think we beat every boss.

51:32Mitch:I want to say every major boss. Now we might have missed some of the hidden rooms where the little cave things that weren't story driven.

51:39Tom:Yeah, I'm talking like the gods, yeah, like the primetime players. We took them all down. We had a great system for fighting millennia. Mitch would throw this lightning bolt thing that would knock her on her back. I'd come running up with my buffed, giant colossal swords and, just bam, take a third of her health. Hayden would like poke her in the foot with a dagger and we'd run and she'd get up Mitch, do it again and we'd run.

52:00Mitch:Baby, baby, baby it's like rinse and repeat rinse and repeat until you win. The next bit of news that we have is Paul Bettany will return in 2026 for a Vision TV series which will be based on his character in the MCU. That takes place after the WandaVision TV show.

52:18Tom:Okay, Is Elizabeth Olsen returning as Scarlet Witch for this?

52:22Mitch:Supposedly she's not returned to the MCU at all is what she says. I think her character will return In the show the Boys. They're to convince jared padalecki to join as a character .

52:36Tom:They haven't revealed what, but jensen ackles and um jeffrey dean morgan jeffrey dean morgan are both in this now, because jeffrey dean morgan's gonna be like the iron man of that world I like how mad jensen ackles got because he got cast in the show and he's like I hit the gym, yeah, the pressure train. He's like I got yoked. He's like, and then like why don't you just like ask for muscles on the suit? He was like what, that's a thing, what, what.

53:04Mitch:But yeah, supposedly uh the uh creator, which is the same guy that helped create supernatural, is trying to get jared padalecki to join. I imagine it'll happen, because his show Walker got cancelled this last season after four seasons.

53:18Tom:I knew he was watching this.

53:19Mitch:Did you watch it? I watched the first two seasons .

53:22Tom:Was it good?

53:22Mitch:It was alright. Yeah, marvel Studios is considering Janelle Monae to play Storm in the MCU. I could see her. Alright, let's see what else we got. The MCU X-Men movie gets its first update in months. Michael Leslie will reportedly be the writer for the MCU. He wrote the Hunger Games, the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, which is the most recent Hunger Games prequel, and let's see, and he did the screenplay for 2016's Assassin's Creed and 2015's Macbeth.

53:57Tom:Macbeth.

53:58Mitch:So we'll see how that one turns out. Let's see what else we got here . Oh, there's a show that I helped work on.

54:07Tom:Oh, did you.

54:08Mitch:Our reoccurring guests, joey Thurman and Hayden directed I Remember, will be streaming. I know it's going to be on Vimeo, but it's a pilot to a TV show that they're trying to get made called I Remember, a Human Experience. It's very good, it was fun working on, but it was done quickly. But they're looking to get that made into a full TV series.

54:36Tom:So check it out and give it your support.

54:38Mitch:Yes, we encourage you to look at.

54:40Tom:I Remember Because I saw it and it was good. There was a lot of good effort that went into it and it deserves a good, fair chance to make it big.

54:48Mitch:We would love to hear your thoughts on it. Let's see. It says it will premiere on Monday streaming on Vimeo, which Monday will be tomorrow, the 3rd June 3rd, so if you're hearing this, it's out. Sorry, I'll be gone. The next thing is Expedition Unknown is coming back on June 19th. They'll have the new season. Can't wait for that. I'll watch the stuff with Josh Tonight on Unsolved. A Call of Duty cheat maker has been ordered to pay Activision $14 million in damages.

55:24Tom:I wonder if it's that punk kid. I doubt it's him.

55:29Mitch:I hope it is. James Gunn has confirmed that there are plans to put Deathstroke in the new DCU, so that's a character I love and I would love to see a live-action Deathstroke in the movies. It shouldn't be this hard, because my new Bennett did pretty good as Deathstroke in Arrow so I would love to see him . There's a new character that will be debuting in Rings of Power Tom Bombadil. Yes, it is. Yeah, I saw.

56:00Tom:They'll ruin that too .

56:02Mitch:His look reminds me. Have you ever seen Boy Meets World, where Eric plays with squirrels? He's wearing this druid outfit. He's got a long beard.

56:11Tom:But yeah, that's kind of what Tom Bobadil actually looks like how he's described.

56:16Mitch:Jeremy Rayner is joining the Knives Out 3 movie, so it'll be his first acting since his accident, almost getting late, his snowplow accident, it says.

56:28Tom:Can he walk yeah?

56:31Mitch:National Treasure 3 will see all principal actors return and it will feature Sean Bean's. See, can he walk? Yeah, okay, national Treasure 3 will see all principal actors return and it will feature Sean Bean's villain. Hey, he'll die, like always.

56:41Tom:He doesn't die in the first one.

56:43Mitch:Oh yeah. And then the last bit of news I have is X-Men 97, because of its success, they've more seriously considered bringing back 1990's Spider-Man.

56:53Tom:Yes, with Aerosmith doing the intro.

57:00Mitch:The people behind the show want to make a connected universe with the cartoons.

57:05Tom:Which is what it was, because you had him, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Four, you had the X-Men.

57:11Mitch:They had their own mini MCU happening. So I mean, the X-Men 97 has been a great show and, if anything else, the other ones deserve at least a chance to be in the show and a chance for a spinoff. I really enjoyed those. Spider-man definitely does, yeah, but that's all I had for this week. That's all I had for this week. That's all I got as well. All right, bye, no click.

57:33Tom:We hope you enjoyed this episode. I don't know what we're talking about next week. I do. What are we talking about next week?

57:40Mitch:I looked it up. What did I write it down at? I don't remember. I wrote it down. I cut it here somewhere. They pull it up.

57:46Tom:I'll just keep talking, searching, searching, searching.

57:50Mitch:Oh, our dad's top tens for Father's Day.

57:53Tom:Like our dad's top ten movies. Yeah, oh crap, I've got to ask my dad questions. I've already got mine.

57:57Mitch:Okay, let's see. And then we're also going to have an interview that hopefully will continue to be on the 9th, as long as Tom doesn't change his plans.

58:09Tom:We should be good. After I asked him two weeks in prior.

58:13Mitch:Look, I got a lot going on and then I also want to , since we have to record again. Anyways, it'll cover while I'm on vacation. At the end of the month we're going to do a top-fine explain-yourself movie where you pick a movie that you like that nobody else likes, and explain why you like that movie. So explain yourself.

58:33Tom:I have to pick five of them. Yeah, oh my God, we'll get it Cool.

58:36Mitch:Haul junkies, we're going to have a good.

58:38Tom:Explain yourself, christopher Walken.

58:41Mitch:But anyways, that's kind of what we have in the future.

58:44Tom:I look forward to sitting here and us shambling our way through this and putting this out on the internet. We hope you enjoyed this episode. I'm Tom, I'm Mitch and this was Entertaining. This One. We'll catch you on the next one . I'm out.
